In this episode of Take Me Back, we speak to Aparna about her time living, working and eating in Mexico. While in Mexico, Aparna had a cheese-dealer, and went on an Amazing Race-style adventure to eat 6-meals a day while in Oaxaca.
We also learn about the mysterious Mole, a savoury sauce with chocolate as one of its primary ingredients. Post her Mexican adventures, Aparna has been building cultural mindfulness through food under the "Travelling Thali" moniker and holds wonderful workshops that showcase the culture and food of places like Mexico, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
