  •      Welcome to Episode 44 of That Greenwich Life! This episode marks the final episode of Season One, and I’m taking a moment to reflect on the incredible journey this podcast has been.
When I launched this show last year, I had no idea what it would become—how many people it would positively impact, how deeply personal it would get, and how much it would push me to grow. Over the past year, I’ve shared my own stories and the stories of my incredible guests about motherhood, grief, career pivots, personal reinvention, and all the messy, beautiful, complicated moments in between.
But as I always say on this show, we have to listen to what’s right for us. And right now, I know it’s time to pause, reset, and make space for what’s next.
         In this episode, I’m sharing:
    •        Why I’m taking a break—and why pausing is sometimes the most powerful decision.
    •        How stepping away from something can help us grow in new ways—personally, creatively, and professionally.
    •        What’s next? I may not have all the answers, but I’m embracing the “we’ll see” mindset.

Thank You to This Season’s Sponsors:

  •      Welcome to Episode 43 of That Greenwich Life! If you’re looking for travel inspo for your next vacation, this episode is for you. Most of you know I’ve been a travel writer for over a decade, and if I had a dollar for every person who has asked me through the years, “What’s the best trip you’ve ever taken?” or “What trip should everyone take at least once in their lifetime?,” I’d have my own private jet big enough to fit each and every one of you.
This week I’m joined by Harsh Patil, the CEO and founder of Xplorearth, a luxury travel company specializing in bucket-list experiences, to talk more about my answer to both of those questions time and again – African safaris!  Harsh shares his deep knowledge of this experience and why you don’t need to wait until “someday” to go.
We cover everything you need to know—when to go, how to plan, what to expect, and why safaris are so much more accessible than people think (yes, even for families with kids!). Plus, Harsh shares his insider travel tips and some of the other incredible, off-the-beaten-path adventures he curates around the world.

    In This Episode:
    •        The best time of year to go on safari (hint: it’s more flexible than you think!).
    •        How to plan a family-friendly safari and why it’s an incredible experience for kids.
    •        Harsh’s insider travel recommendations
    •        Why your travel dollars matter—how luxury safaris contribute to conservation and support local communities.

If – like me - you’ve been waking up exhausted, feeling anxious, or you’re just looking for a simple and natural way to boost your energy, this episode is for you.
I’m diving into something that has completely transformed my sleep, my energy levels, and even my overall well-being—mouth taping! It sounds scary – I know! But I promise you it’s not! It forces you to breath through your nose and reap amazing health benefits while you catch your beauty rest.
To break down the science behind breathing and why nose breathing is crucial for your health day AND night, I’m joined by Jenn Warwick, a certified breathwork expert and founder of Breathe for Life. Jen explains how the way we breathe impacts our nervous system, our sleep quality, our stress levels, and even our ability to think clearly.

  •      Welcome to Episode 40 of That Greenwich Life! As I'm getting closer to wrapping up Season 1, I’m scrapping my planned topic this week to talk about something real, raw, and deeply personal.  As my daughter's 2nd birthday and the 6-year anniversary of my baby's passing approaches within weeks of each other, I'm reminded that dark and light, grief and joy, beauty and pain will always exist side-by-side. Sometimes, life reminds us that certain moments—certain seasons—will always hold weight, no matter how much time passes.
If you’ve ever struggled with loss, trauma, or the complicated emotions that surface during anniversaries of pain, this episode is for you. Grief and healing aren’t linear, but they are part of what makes us who we are.
The body truly keeps the score. From the trauma of loss to my journey through infertility and ultimately to the miracle of my daughter’s birth, this episode is about recognizing how deeply our past remains within us—and learning how to honor it while moving forward.

    In This Episode:
    •        Why certain times of the year trigger deep emotional responses—and how to navigate them.
    •        My personal journey through loss, infertility, and healing—and what it taught me about resilience.
    •        The moment I realized my body was shutting down from grief—and how I started to heal.
    •        The unexpected full-circle moment that tied my past pain to the birth of my daughter.
    •        The importance of giving yourself grace, space, and permission to feel it all.

  •      Welcome to Episode 38 of Season 1 of That Greenwich Life! This week, I’m taking a moment to reflect on staying grounded, finding balance, and letting go of the hustle—especially when life (or vacation) feels like a whirlwind.
This episode is for anyone who feels like they’re always going, planning, doing—but struggling to simply be.
After an epic February break with my family—first at Beaches Turks & Caicos, then at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida—I realized just how much our nervous systems dictate how we move through life. Whether it’s rushing from one resort activity to the next, trying to make the most of every moment, or simply forgetting to pause and breathe, this trip reminded me of the power of presence over planning.
I also take a deep dive into a difficult chapter of my life—navigating IVF, loss, and the deep emotional toll of it all. Returning to Universal Studios years later, under completely different circumstances, was a powerful full-circle moment that reminded me how much healing can happen over time.

    In This Episode:
    •        How an over-scheduled vacation made me realize I was still operating in hustle mode.
    •        The difference between being present and just checking things off a to-do list.
    •        The full-circle moment of returning to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter after one of the hardest seasons of my life.
    •        Navigating IVF, loss, and the unexpected ways healing happens over time.
    •        Why true grounding comes from within—not from the perfect plan, place, or schedule.
A big thank-you to the incredible sponsors who make this show possible:

  •      Welcome to Episode 37 of That Greenwich Life! This week, we’re shifting gears and diving into something we all need more of—humor. Because let’s be real, life is chaotic, motherhood is exhausting, and the only way to survive it all is to laugh through the madness.
Joining me is Megan Schinella, the creator behind one of my favorite Instagram accounts - @meganschinella, where she shares hilarious and oh-so-relatable takes on parenting, social media, and the absurdity of everyday life. Megan’s content is the perfect reminder that we don’t have to take it all so seriously—and that humor can be one of our greatest tools for getting through tough times.

This episode is for anyone who needs a break from the stress, a good laugh, and a reminder that we’re all just figuring it out as we go.
We talk about everything from raising teens - and their Sephora obsessions - to how social media can be a double-edged sword when it comes to validation and creativity. Megan also shares the incredible story of how Spencer Pratt (yes, Spencer and Heidi from The Hills) ended up collaborating on one of her reels.

         In This Episode:
    •        Why humor is the best survival tool for motherhood, stress, and everything in between.
    •        The hilarious reality of social media, validation, and dealing with internet trolls.
    •        How embracing imperfection can make life (and parenting) so much more fun.

A big shoutout to our amazing sponsors who make this show possible:
Room For Paws Pet Resort in Stamford, CT, for taking such great care of our furry family members. Bleecker, my sweet Goldendoodle had the best time at his recent stay there, and I had total peace of mind! Check them out at RoomForPawsPetResort.com.

  •      In Episode 36 of That Greenwich Life, I’m diving deep with a special guest into reinvention, resilience, and reminiscing about our wild early days of celebrity journalism (think TRL, red carpets, and texting with Kim Kardashian on a Sidekick)
My guest, Amy Palmer, (Instagram: @amypalmertv ) is an Emmy-nominated TV host, journalist, and executive producer who has spent years at the forefront of media. From covering celebrity culture to launching Power Women TV and now The Westport Show, Amy knows what it takes to pivot, evolve, and build something entirely new.
This episode is for anyone thinking about a fresh start, a career pivot, or simply moving in a new direction in any chapter of your life.
We’re getting real about the hustle of media entrepreneurship, the importance of trusting your instincts, and why success today looks very different than it did in our 20s.
         In This Episode:
    •        How Amy and I went from covering pop culture to where we are now
    •        The shift from chasing external validation to building a career that aligns with your values.
    •        The wild, behind-the-scenes stories of early 2000s Hollywood—including a pre-fame Kim Kardashian and Bethenny Frankel.
    •        The evolution of media and why reinvention is essential for staying relevant.
    •        Why today’s version of success is all about peace, confidence, and authenticity.
A huge thank-you to our sponsors for supporting this episode and making each show possible:

  •      January was such an incredible month, and we're kicking off February with a solo episode that dives deep into self-discovery, personal growth, and a more focused mission for this show. I’ve been thinking a lot about what truly matters—not just for this podcast, but in my own life. Over the past year, I’ve navigated some big personal revelations, reevaluated what brings me joy, and made a conscious decision to create a space right here that fosters connection, healing, and authenticity.
We don’t always have to have everything figured out, and I’m working on giving myself permission to keep things messy and always evolving – with a mindset of “we’ll see” – and I invite you to do the same.
I played around with the show intro to make sure it really captured the essence of the show - and me, your host. I'm not totally there yet but will keep working on it!
         In this episode:
    •        Reflections on our Five-Part January 2025 Glow-Up Series and how it’s setting the tone for the year ahead.
    •        A behind-the-scenes look at why I updated the show’s teaser and trailer—what I’ve learned about myself and how I want this space to evolve.
    •        Why I didn’t turn this into a Greenwich gossip show (despite the temptation) and how my past as a celebrity reporter shaped that decision.
    •        The personal struggles that redefined my perspective—from infertility and pregnancy loss to rebuilding a life that truly aligns with who I am.
    •        The transformative power of the phrase “We’ll see”—why it can change the way you approach life’s challenges and uncertainties.
    •        A beautiful quote from Yung Pueblo that perfectly captures the heart of this podcast and the kind of energy I want to cultivate.
This episode is all about stepping into alignment, letting go of what no longer serves us, and embracing the journey—even when we don’t have all the answers.

  •      In Part 4 of our New Year Glow-Up Series, we’re diving into the intersection of sustainability and style – and how you can combat excess consumerism this new year. But don’t worry, you don’t have to quit shopping altogether! I would NEVER ask that of you.
My special guest, Carly Ridloff, is the founder of The Exchange Project  (IG:@the.exchangeproject) and I met her back in December at an amazing event she did in Westport, CT, with my friend and Mindset Coach, Julie Vincent, who you have heard on this show before.
Carly’s innovative concept is redefining how we think about fashion, community, and sustainability. We discuss the inspiration behind her project, the growing problem of clothing waste, and how her events create opportunities to extend the life of pre-loved clothing while building meaningful connections.
In this episode, Carly shares how a simple mindset shift can empower us to make a positive environmental impact without sacrificing style. From boutique-like swaps to high-end consignment, The Exchange Project is proof that eco-conscious living can be chic, accessible, and fun.
         In This Episode:

    •        Simple steps to align your style with sustainability in 2025.
    •        Behind-the-scenes stories of reinvention and finding purpose in unexpected places.

In this solo episode, Part 3 of our 2025 Glow-Up Series, I’m diving into an essential but often overlooked part of the glow-up journey: learning to listen to yourself, setting boundaries with intention and how it’s possible to communicate those boundaries to others with honesty and kindness.
This week I’m reflecting on my own experiences and lessons learned—especially around navigating busy seasons, saying "no" when needed, and embracing the power of intentional decisions.
Using New Year’s Eve as a springboard, I explore how we can move away from people-pleasing, let go of guilt, and prioritize what truly nourishes our souls, while still honestly communicating our boundaries with people in a caring way. This episode is all about creating space for mindfulness, honoring your needs, and making room for what feels right while still being considerate of others.

         In This Episode:
    •        Why New Year’s resolutions don’t work—and why setting intentions instead helps take the pressure off
    •        The importance of slowing down and tuning into what you and your family truly need
    •        Real-life lessons from a busy holiday season and learning to say “no” without guilt
    •        Why setting boundaries isn’t selfish—it’s essential for your well-being and your relationships
    •        How intentional choices can make space for more meaningful connections in 2025

  •      Welcome to Episode 31 of That Greenwich Life! As we continue our 2025 Glow-Up Series, in Part 2, I’m thrilled to dive into a topic that’s more than skin-deep—skincare as self-care. This week, I’m joined by Nicole Caroline, a master esthetician with over 25 years of experience, a celebrity clientele, and a brand-new luxury spa right here on Greenwich Avenue, Nicole Caroline Skin.
Together, we explore how caring for your skin can transform your confidence and even your soul.
We talk all about overcoming that annoying self-doubt we all experience from time to time and the importance of pausing to really soak in pinnacle moments. She’s not just about glowing skin—she’s about glowing from within, and her story will leave you inspired to take bold steps in your own life.
We also talk practical skincare tips, like the importance of a nighttime double cleanse – cleansing with oil of all things! - to remove makeup and sunscreen, and the magic of her signature ice spheres for depuffing, glowing skin, and even calming your nervous system. Nicole’s philosophy is simple but powerful: when you feel good in your skin, it shows in every part of your life.

    Featured in This Episode:
    •        Why authenticity and uniqueness is your “signature sauce”
    •        How skincare became a healing ritual for Dorothy during difficult times of pregnancy loss, miscarriage and failed IVF.
    •        The connection between self-care, confidence, and building a thriving business or leveling up in any place of your life.
    •        Simple ways to upgrade your skincare routine, no matter your budget or schedule.

  •      It’s the 30th episode of That Greenwich Life and the first of 2025! I can’t believe how far we’ve come, and I’m so excited to kick off the year with a super fun special episode with tons of travel ideas as part of That Greenwich Life’s 5-part 2025 Glow-Up series this month.
No New Year’s Resolutions here because – let’s be honest – who really keeps them? I know I don’t. Instead of only hitting the gym hardcore with the rest of the pack (ok…we can do that also), I’m focusing on five areas of our lives where we could all use just a little bit more self-care, attention and direction.
This week in Part 1, I’m joined by my longtime friend and incredible NYC-based travel journalist, Juliet Izon, whose work has been featured in The New York Times, Travel + Leisure, The Wall Street Journal and more. Together – since you all know by now I’m a travel writer as well! - we’re sharing travel ideas and tips for every season and school break, whether you're dreaming of a spring getaway, summer escape, or a holiday trip to end the year. From Grenada to Morocco, Norway to San Diego, there’s something here for everyone, no matter your style or budget.
         What’s Inside:
              •        February Break Inspiration: Grenada’s serene Silver Sands Beach House and my upcoming trip to Beaches Turks & Caicos (with a magical stop at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on the way back to Greenwich!).
              •        Spring Break Favorites: Morocco and Southern Spain for culture and adventure, or Mallorca for a quieter, off-season vibe.
              •        Summer Escapes: Norway’s fjords and culinary treasures, or a surprising pick—Vail, Colorado—perfect for hiking and llama treks.
              •        Holiday Travel Magic: Juliet shares her wintertime Lake Placid experience at Lake Placid Lodge, while I talk about the incredible Hotel del Coronado in San Diego.

Special Thanks: PodPopuli for hosting me and to this episode’s sponsors, Illume Fertility and Steam Greenwich.
llume Fertility is a leading fertility and family-building practice serving the tri-state area since 2002, led by an award-winning team of highly credentialed, board-certified reproductive endocrinologists. •      Now that the holidays are officially over, it’s time to look back on the last few weeks and identify what worked well and what just didn’t so next year we don’t end up in the same unfulfilling patterns during the precious time of the holiday season.
Too many of us KILLED ourselves to keep traditions alive that no longer serve us and our families, AND too many of us engaged in extreme people pleasing at a large cost to our own peace.
This week I’m also sharing a listener’s moving story about finding gratitude amidst unimaginable loss. It’s a reminder that the holiday season is not just about perfection but about connection, healing, and joy in the small moments – and prioritizing your mental health.
    In this episode:
    •        A sneak peek into my upcoming girls’ getaway to the Mirabeau Inn & Spa in Rhinebeck, NY, with my best friend, Alison Seponara.
    •        The joy of incorporating new traditions, like tinsel on the Christmas tree, and rethinking old ones that no longer serve us.
    •        Why it’s okay to say “no” to holiday obligations and prioritize your family’s unique needs.
    •        Reflections on past holidays, navigating childhood traditions with divorced parents, and how those experiences shape my current holiday approach.
    •        The balance between people-pleasing and preserving your peace—and how to make self-care a priority.

Thank You to This Week’s Sponsors!
A big shoutout to Room For Paws Pet Resort in Stamford, CT, for keeping Bleecker happy and loved during our busiest holiday weeks. Their exceptional care makes traveling a breeze! • This week, I’m sharing some holiday highs, a few stumbles, and why staying flexible is more important this time of year than ever before. From our family’s Christmas tree adventure (where nothing went as planned) to balancing holiday to-dos with quiet moments, it’s all about finding joy in the unexpected.
I also share a bit about past holidays that were tough and how those experiences helped me shift my perspective. We all experience grief around the holidays, and it's so important to leave space to process it. It’s not about having a picture-perfect season; it’s about finding little ways to make it meaningful, even if that means curling up with a blanket and just enjoying the glow of your Christmas tree.
Don’t Forget to Shop the Merch!

  •      In yet another follow-up to the past two episodes about body image, this week I’m joined by Dr. Shieva Ghofrany, an OB-GYN with 25 years of experience and the founder of Tribe Called V. She has shepherded me – and countless other women and families -  through some pretty traumatic medical hurdles, and she is talking all things perimenopause with me this week in the studio.
She’s dishing about hormonal changes, misconceptions about treatments – especially hormone therapy - and how to manage symptoms like weight gain, hot flashes, low libido and mood shifts. You’ll never believe how helpful something as simple as Vitamin D3 is – or watching your alcohol, sugar and caffeine intake! There’s no one-size-fits-all approach but she definitely shares some action items.
Most importantly, we talk about how self-compassion plays a role in these changes. We have to find a middle-ground between making positive changes and accepting the natural aging process.

  • This week, we’re diving into Part Two of our body image conversation. Everyone faces their own struggles, and while they may vary in size, what truly matters is how significant those struggles feel TO YOU. It’s not about whether others think your concerns are valid—it’s about how YOU perceive and deal with them. I’m sharing more about my postpartum recovery journey, how hormones and perimenopause play a role, and how intermittent fasting helped me when nothing else seemed to work. We need to shift our perspectives and embrace the beauty of our imperfections.

  • This Thanksgiving, instead of worrying about our bodies or what we’ve eaten, let’s focus on positivity and gratitude. Yes, there's something about every one of our bodies we wish we could change, but while the world may judge our size or shape – and sometimes we are our own harshest critics -- it’s our job to remind ourselves that we are beautiful, blessed, and deserving of self-love.

This week, I’m sharing my own postpartum recovery struggles and how I’ve navigated body changes, negative self-talk, and have learned to embrace this season of life (there is not much exercise happening for me these days). Plus, I talk about how Rent the Runway saved my sanity after my daughter was born, the power of body positivity for our kids, and why it’s time we all start being kinder to ourselves.
