Dr. Peter Konjoian has been involved in the U.S. greenhouse industry's commercial and research areas for over four decades. He began his career as a faculty member at the University of Maryland, returned home to Andover, Massachusetts, to run his parents’ greenhouse operation, then formed Konjoian’s Horticulture Education Services (KHES).
Today, Dr. Konjoian continues to offer third-party independent research through KHES and co-hosts The Grower and the Economist podcast.

Dr. Wendy Zellner is a molecular and cellular biologist and has actively studied the role of silicon as a plant nutrient for almost 20 years. Dr. Zellner is the Owner/Lead Scientist with Zellner's Research Solutions, LLC, and a research associate professor at the University of Toledo.

Dr. Merle Jensen is a Professor Emeritus, Plant Sciences, The University of Arizona. He also consulted on numerous greenhouse vegetable production projects for major companies and organizations worldwide. Dr. Jensen is a controlled environment agriculture (CEA) pioneer. His contributions to CEA over the past 50+ years span the globe and will have a lost-lasting impact for years to come.
