...well, shit. Almost exactly as we pressed Publish on last week's episode, the news broke that The Big Show is no longer a part of the WWE after 20-plus years on the roster. Instead, Paul Wight has made plans with AEW to join as their latest colour commentator and wrestler.
What does this mean for AEW? What prompted the move? What will Tony Khan and the boys do with Paul that the WWE couldn't? More importantly, what dream matches are now reality? We talk all of that, plus a whole lot of other silliness in this week's bonus breaking-news episode.

Before you ask: Yes, we've heard the news. We don't work that quickly, though. Here's one we prepared earlier, though: A time when Paul Wight was also working for a rival company to WWE. Yep, we're watching his disastrous debut match from all the way back in 1995. It's one of the dustiest finishes of the 90s, complete with one of the most excruciating characters and finishing moves of all time. Of ALL TIME! Fire up your WWE Network and watch in horror as The Giant challenges Hulk Hogan for the 15 pounds of gold.

With The Big Show Show in the rearview, it's time to focus in on those first three words. It's safe to say that Paul Wight has had a fascinating life - so what will an hour-long documentary tell us about him that we don't already know? This, recorded as part of a DVD boxset WWE released in 2010, documents Show's upbringing, his WCW days, his WWE days, his WWECW days... and, yes, his bus. Lots of his bus. But we'll get to that.

Merry Christmas, happy holidays, season's greetings and a big ol' weeeeeee-eeeeellllllll from our family to yours. It's time to say goodbye to The Big Show Show for the third and definitely final time, as we watch the show's Christmas episode - that they presumably shot sometime last year. Go figure, right? There's pratfalls, scavenger hunts, flossing and an unfortunate ending for the TBSS universe that Chris has conspired into existence. It is what it is, basically.
Have a happy and safe holiday season, and we'll see you in 2021 for more big Big Show shows, with us - The Big Show Show Show.Produced and edited by David James Young.

Season 1 of The Big Show Show Show was all about... well, The Big Show Show. Now that it's done and dusted, it's time to focus in on The Big Show himself. A former WWE Champion, WCW Champion, ECW Champion, Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, Hardcore Champion... and part-time actor. In 2010, WWE Studios placed Big Show in a movie one of his castmates would go on to describe as the biggest mistake of his career. A movie that made just shy of $8000 at the box office. A film that Slant described as having an apt title, given it's "a description for both the film and anyone who chooses to be its audience." Folks, this week we're watching the 2010 film Knucklehead so you don't have to. If you do want to, however, you can - it's up on YouTube for free. Not a joke.

Como estas, bitches? We've got one last bonus episode up our sleeve before we move onto season 2 - and we're in largely unfamiliar territory. This is the first and final episode of The Mr. Iglesias Show Show, in which we watch an episode of Gabriel Iglesias' sitcom that - like "The Big Games" - was also made as part of Netflix's Game On! series. We fly blind for half an hour, trying to figure out who's doing what, why the kid from AP Bio is speaking in patois and why people really like the way Sherri Shepherd says "ham."

Game faces, people: It's time for a bonus episode of The Big Show Show, which means it's time for a bonus episode of The Big Show Show Show!
This time around, the Wights are teaming up to compete at the school's annual games competition. It's family vs family vs a bunch of other random families... and Gabriel Iglesias, for some reason. Is any of this canon? Does it matter? We're back on our bullshit, baby!

Some sad news to share with the ShowShowShowNation – the first season of The Big Show Show is also its last. We read an article about its cancellation, some posts from the cast and weigh up what could have been for the season that never was. But hey, just because there isn't a second season of The Big Show Show, doesn't mean there won't be a second season of The Big Show Show Show! Listen in to hear what our next moves are for the podcast.

So it's come to this... we're down to the final episode of The Big Show Show. This doesn't mean the end of The Big Show Show Show, though. Be sure to listen in and find out about our plans now that the Show Show is over. Also stick around for discussions of Google review fraud, Jaleel White's net worth, siblings roasting each other, the origins of Meatbrick and - of course - cum.

The carnival is nearly over and the clock is ticking on the various plotlines laid out over the course of the season. Is Mandy going to win the election? Is Lola gonna move back to Minnesota? Is Big Show gonna get back in the ring? You probably already know the answer to all of these and will have those predictions promptly confirmed come the end of this episode, but it's still fun to speculate. Meanwhile, we're going off the rails - again! Who saw that coming? Not me!

Are you interested in a love triangle between two teenagers and a 50-year-old man? Want to see two tweens gaslight their depressed mother? What are your feelings on Tan France looking genuinely disgusted with himself and phoning in one of the most shameless cameos in recent memory? Welcome to "The Big Process," the episode Chris eventually describes as the worst episode of The Big Show Show yet. Is it really that bad? I mean, probably. It's par for the course by now.

Oh boy, this one really goes off the rails at one point. Not gonna say where or when - that's what will make it all the more exciting.
So, what are the Wights up to? Well, Show and Lola are cooking! Mandy is delving into dirty election tactics! Cassy and JJ are gonna sell this damn house! Or are they? Let's find out!

Greetings, Show Show Show Nation! Did you miss us? We're back - and, thanks to easing restrictions, we're in the same room for the first time since the podcast started. What news from Tampa? Well, the gators are coming, Mandy is gonna be president of something, hologram pop stars suck and JJ not only rocks but is smart too. Who'd have thunk it?

With episode one out of the way, we know what the Wight family are all about - or do we? Hijinks are aplenty as Lola clashes with Mandy, Cassy clashes with Show, J.J. clashes with everyone and fucking Urkel turns up! This one was cooked together over two iso sessions, and was an absolute bitch to edit. Fear not, however - from episode three onwards, Chris and David are in the same room! Prepare for The Big Show Show Show to get even bigger.

Playtime is over. It's time for The Big Show Show Show to get down to business, and review "Prototype," the first episode of The Big Show Show.
In this pilot episode, we're introduced to the entire Wight family - The Big Show, Cassie (we eventually find out her name), Lola, Mandy and the almighty J.J. We go beat by beat on Episode One to discuss why J.J. rocks, real estate sucks and The Big Show is a struggling actor and father, plus why Mandy is just the WORST.

Welcome to The Big Show Show Show! Before we crack into The Big Show Show properly, David and his brother Chris will be taking a look at the early life of Paul Donald Wight II - AKA The Big Show. Without too many sidebars and segues, we talk about Big Show's blossoming basketball career, his acromegaly (which we never learn how to pronounce) and how a chance encounter with a member of The Partridge Family set him on a path to wrestling stardom.
