Chris Medina got famous for his song “what are words” and the tragic story of his ex. fiance Juliana Ramos that got seriously injured in a car accident. Chris stood by her and got famous for his words “Cause what kind of guy would I be, If I was to leave when you need me most”. Sadly, life is not always like a Disney movie and Juliana and Chris agreed to part ways. The energy it took to dear to do this had hidden consequences on Chris’s mental health and he met shocking feedback form “haters”. He started his new life in Norway and now lives there with the mother of their beautiful daughter Mila.

How do we communicate across generations to turn the mental health crisis?
The gap between generations seems to increase further and further. Like Tanyette says during this unique podcast episode, “we are now dealing with the first generation that grew up with devices from day one”. Their parents is the generation that saw the birth of devices and their grandparents are the generation that lived in the world without them. How do we act as a parent when we see the massive rise in mental health challenges and illness among youth today? Not just that, but the same seems to have been accelerated by the social media influx in our lives. If we remove the option of closing down Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat or denying our children to use them, what are we left with, in terms of good options?Tanyette has worked for Google with tech. surrounding her, and she is sharing how she managed to tackle her sons mental health challenges. Fatmir has also felt the challenge of communicating across generations and his wife is also a professional within the mental health field, but challenges still came.

Daniel, ever since childhood, has been the positive and extroverted guy. Since finding out about entrepreneurship and making your own company, he has not looked back. He calls himself an “ordinary hustler”, someone trying to build his own companies, that have been a ‘medium success’. Daniel shares how, in his pursuit of his dreams of creating his own company, he never took the time to look back, and “suddenly” found himself in a position where everything felt like quicksand. What do you do when you are the positive guy and you don’t find strength to leave your bed, nor smile in any way? He was depressed and even though he had gotten “signs”, he feels it came creeping up on him from nowhere.
Hear how it was to find his way back from depression, whilst he also had to solve his financial and entrepreneurial problems. When you are an entrepreneur there is no sick leave or safety net. The artist Chris Medina got famous for his "story" through "American Idol" and the song that followed "what are words", about his fiance's terribly injured from a car accident. This changed his life, but at one point the "story" became the only reality the world wanted to accept, and Chris' reality did not match. For years he battled the pressure of what he felt everyone expected of him. He shared his story of the aftermath of fame, the following pressure, his loneliness in it all and the tough depression he got through where he did not see any way out.
