Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 11 Review: From the Ashes
As Agents of SHIELD clearly builds towards its season 6 finale, "From the Ashes" takes a deeply emotional turn, and we love it! Whether enjoying Deke's approval by his grandparents, suffering with Benson as he deals with his guilt, rejoicing at the reconciliation between Mack and Yoyo, or gasping with Daisy as she witnesses bits of Coulson rising to the surface in Sarge, this episode pulled on all the heartstrings.
Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "From the Ashes," (no Faith’s S.H.I.E.L.D.S.A.S.S. feature this week), and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Daisy's extreme measures, Deke's belt buckle idea, May's surprising sensitivity, Izel's ingenuity, Sarge's awakening powers, and Flint's unusual return. Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 10 Review: Leap
With an entertaining shell game in the latest episode of Agents of SHIELD, "Leap" gives us all kinds of answers. The only question is whether or not we're fully satisfied with the explanation we've been given. Whatever the case may be, the body-snatching was undeniably fun, and the possibilities for a Ghost Rider connection are extremely enticing.

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 9 Review: Collision Course (Part II)
"Collision Course (Part II)" presents an exciting conclusion to a stellar two-part Agents of SHIELD episode, revealing some answers but holding other mysteries close. It's interesting that there's an extended celebration scene and a reconciliation for Mack and Yoyo with four episodes to go. You know we're far from finished with Izel and Sarge!

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 7 Review: Toldja
Although "Toldja" wasn't our favorite episode of Agents of SHIELD this season, there was plenty of emotional dialogue between characters to gain our appreciation. As a result, this mid-season installment felt like a pivot point towards other exciting developments, especially considering we have a two-parter coming up next week.

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 6 Review: Inescapable
A bottle episode of Agents of SHIELD never scared anyone, and seeing Fitz and Simmons reconcile all of their pain in "Inescapable" really highlighted the acting of Iain de Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge. Although the story didn't move forward much, the psychological experiment was worth the price of admission!

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 5 Review: The Other Thing
Storylines begin to merge in the latest Agents of SHIELD episode, "The Other Thing," and we're wondering what Daisy will think about fake Coulson and when Fitz and Simmons will return. In the meantime, the holes in Sarge's history seem to point towards something else going on, but we're happy with the Philinda flashback.

Agents of SHIELD Executive Producers Interview
We had the honor of being able to speak to Agents of SHIELD executive producers Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon, and Jeff Bell before season 6 began as part of our association with Den of Geek. Although both the article and our original podcast on our Sci Fi Fidelity feed are spoiler-free, we still think you'll find it interesting to listen to the insights of the showrunners behind the Marvel show we love.
As mentioned in this podcast, we do have another interview to look forward to in July with the one and only Clark Gregg. You'll be able to hear this interview first on Sci Fi Fidelity, and then it will be shared in The Sandbox feed as soon as we are able. Thank you to Den of Geek for allowing us to share this on both platforms, and we hope you enjoy this special interview edition of the podcast with the executive producers while Agents of SHIELD is on a one-week hiatus.
See you next week for Agents of SHIELD season 6 episode 5: "The Other Thing"!

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 2 Review: Window of Opportunity
"Window of Opportunity" introduced a whole new dynamic to Agents of SHIELD as we learned more about Sarge and his team through the subtle use of hints dropped into their dialogue. With Fitz just missing Simmons out in space, his path to redemption hearkens back to his troubles in season 4, creating a nice bit of dissonance for the journey of Fitz and Enoch.

Thankfully, "The End" wasn't actually the end for Agents of SHIELD, but it still knocked us for an emotional loop in giving us some ending for certain characters. Although there is some discussion of whether or not the deaths in this finale were enough to sell the stakes that were set earlier in the season, the impact on the audience was definitely strongly felt, and the tissues were plentiful.

"The Force of Gravity" holds several meanings in this week's Agents of SHIELD, not just the obvious power wielded by Glenn Talbot a.k.a. Graviton. It also could refer to the triumphant moment for Philinda shippers as their beloved couple finally came together, or a case could be made that the gravity of family is pulling the fractured team back together as well. It certainly acted as a wonderful build-up to the finale!

In "All Roads Lead..." Agents of SHIELD brings a major conflict to fruition, but there's still so much to resolve, especially among the team. The adventure depicted in this week's Agents of SHIELD episode, "The Honeymoon," probably isn't exactly the honeymoon Fitz and Simmons were hoping for.
