Actor Mykelti Williamson, celebrated for his role as “Bubba” in the Academy Awarding-winning film Forrest Gump first began acting professionally at the age of 18. After graduating high school, Williamson ventured into professional acting, appearing on television series Starsky and Hutch (1975), Hill Street Blues (1981) and China Beach (1988), among others. Beyond his acting career, Williamson is passionate about restoring classic cars, including his prized 1953 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck. His other favorite hobby is playing blues harmonica.
