She was named to the Just For Laughs “New Faces of Comedy”, an honour shared by the likes of Kevin Hart, Ali Wong, John Mulaney, Hasan Minhaj, and Nikki Glaser. He was a spokesperson for BC Proud and has worked for the Canadian Taxpayers Federation where he became the Executive Director of the Generation Screwed initiative. In 2021, his candidacy for the BC Liberal leadership was red-lit (disallowed) by the BC Liberal Leadership Election Organizing Committee.

She also used to write the “Ask Amy” column for 24 Hours newspaper in Vancouver from 2007 to 2014. Her book, “Breakup Bootcamp — The Science of Rewiring Your Heart” is available in bookstores everywhere!
