In this episode Dark Mark introduces a new segment called "course cutters of the week". You don't want to miss it. Next, Ben gives a brief state of the union regarding all things TRS, including the spin-off of the TRS forum and new direction for the main website.
Finally, Ben interviews Colin Hackett an age-group athlete from Edmonton, Alberta. At one point Colin was 325 lbs and ashamed to take his shirt off by the pool. In the next 6 years, he completed 7 Ironman triathlons including Ironman Arizona where he went sub 12 at 250lbs. Weeks before his 8th Ironman, he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and given 2 years to live. Since then, he's continued to do cool stuff, love his family, train, race (4 Ironman events), teach school and referee hockey games while receiving chemo every couple of weeks.
