Our latest live event at Pride Of Our Footscray. The camp cult classic Can't Stop The Music.
The cocktail made in Superbia Cocktail Bar was infinitely better than the movie, that's all I'll say here.
Join us live at Pride of our Footscray for our live Rainbow Popcorn screening every month. For November we're watching Can't Stop The Music.

Brett's finally worked out what kind of horror he likes - The Substance, Hereditary, Midsommar.
Lee finally watched Bullet Train.
We've both watched Agatha All Along which leads to a probably uninformed discussion of the MCU.

If you've joined us live for Rainbow Popcorn at Pride Of Our Footscray you've heard us reference how bad Roland Emmerich's Stonewall is. So we thought, as a bonus episode, we'd rerelease our original review. Now you can know why it scored so low.

We missed a shot in not doing this for Rainbow Popcorn's Halloween Special. But we do address the queer undertones and overtones within this classic somewhat-erotic thriller.

Recorded live at our Halloween screening event at Pride Of Our Footscray!
Nightmare 2 is widely considered the gayest slasher film of all time. Hear us dissect why that is and whether it's homoerotic or in fact homophobic. We've got theories, some are wild, some are a stretch, some are irrelevant.
Our next Live Screening is Can't Stop The Music - 3rd November. Tickets on sale now.

Batman and Robin for Pride Movie Night. Saw to start October for Lee. Brett watched Agatha All Along and the wrong version of Moana.
There's other stuff too, as well as a tangent about great TV we haven't watched and a possible spinoff podcast.
Our Top this month (because of Nightmare on Elm Street 2 and Interview With The Vampire) is "Uninentially Gay Movies" or "Movies Where They're Not Gay But They Really Are" - nominate your picks on our socials.

It's 30 years since the biggest Disney movie of the millenial generation was released. One of the highest-grossing films for Disney, animation and big cats. One of our favourites and we had a lot of fun chatting about it.
It also led us to put the call out for the Top 5 Films Adapted From Shakespeare. What's yours?

Our first live event at Pride of our Footscray and we watched and reviewed the camp classic Hairspray from 1988. The original John Waters version is not as family-friendly as Lee's favourite, the 2007 musical version, but the night was plenty of fun for everyone.
Our next live event is October 3rd at Pride, screening Nightmare on Elm Street 2.
Sorry about the sound issues late in the episode too.

We've been to the cinema again (this time separately) to see The Fabulous Four and Alien: Romulus. We chat about that and also the issues with cinema crowds. Brett's also been to 'the theatre' to see Six so there's plenty to talk about there.
Lee's rewatching The Games from the Sydney Olympics and he's back on The Voice and Brett's finished off The Umbrella Academy.

After reviewing Bros and Four Weddings And A Funeral, we thought we'd dedicate an entire episode to the RomCom and it's most annoying and frustrating elements.

A movie with the potential to become an Aussie queer classic. Based on Tim Conigrave's memoir, via a stage play. It's not in here for it's comedic efforts but it's better we watch it in private rather than Lee crying in public when we start our live events at Pride of our Footscray.

Something a little different for this episode. Each month we're going to dedicate an episode to something specific within cinema.
Because we've reviewed Shrek last week, this episode is all about Cameron Diaz.
We debate her Top 5, with input from our listeners, guess her Known4 and decide that One's Gotta Go. As well as a chat about how she fits into the world of cinema.
