  • Proud to bring you all the story of Casey Schwenk. From running to cycling, Casey leads by example by running and paving the way for T1s all of the world. Casey doesn't let T1 limit him in any way. Living out of an RV and travel/working around the west coast, he runs fearless and taught me a thing a two about the courage it takes to do what we all do...run and act like T1 ain't no thang. Cheer him on for the San Fran Marathon July 29th.

  • This week I bring Josh Reese on the show. Josh was diagnosed with T1 in his teens, after his T1 mother routinely checked his blood sugar. Since his diagnoses Josh has been pretty distant from the T1 community, but now finds himself trying to get more involved with others, especially other T1 runners. If you're in the Knoxville area, help me convince Josh to start his own chapter.

Charlotte is the director of research and education for the team and has a deep history in certified diabetes education.
