As our society grows, awareness grows for those that are discriminated against. Women throughout society have been told ‘no’ and ‘you can’t do that because you’re a woman’, but times have changed and women can accomplish anything a man can and then some! Especially throughout schooling, women are told not to challenge themselves but what would life be without a challenge? Erika and Victoria, both seniors attending San Diego State University , studying astrophysics give me their take on the adversity they have faced while being women in a male dominated major.
