Raised to Deliver Podcast // Episode 36 // 6 Principles of Prayer (Part 2)
Pray the Scriptures.
Run to the secret place when you fell into secret sin.
God still showed up to meet with Adam after he fell.
Don’t hide behind bushes. Medicating. Numbing. Bandages. Relaxing but not resting. You don’t need to cover what God is ready to cleanse.
God didn’t ask Adam, how could you?
God didn’t ask Adam, why did you do it?
Remember: you can’t walk in dominion if you don’t live in devotion. -
Raised to Deliver Podcast // Episode 35 // 6 Principles of Prayer (Part 1)
Prayer is an overflow of our walk with God.
Devotion is life given to God.
Devotion is time spend with Him.
God loves your presence more than you love His.
For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation. Psalm 149:4
We go to prayer to be with God, not to find God.
Pray in the Spirit.
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, Jude 1:20
When you pray in the Spirit, you can speak to your soul. -
Raised to Deliver Podcast // Episode 34 // Women In Ministry
Podcast Notes
In the Old Testament there were five women named prophetess.
Deborah, who was a prophetess, was also a female military leader.
Jesus included women in His ministry.
The first evangelist was a woman (after Christ was resurrected).
Women being silent in church was practical advice that is historically conditioned, not universal and timeless. (Just like passively accepting slavery).
The head position of the family and the church is male.

Raised to Deliver Podcast // Episode 33 // 40 Day Fast
Podcast Notes
Moses, Elijah and Jesus all fasted.
After Jesus fast, “Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.” (Matthew 4:11)
Benefits: the devil left Him, angels came to minister, He returned in the power of the Holy Spirit (not just in gifts).
The 40 day fast is not me accomplishing my goal but allowing God to accomplish His goal in me.
I don’t want my work for God to outgrow God’s work in me.

Raised to Deliver Podcast // Episode 32 // Delight Purifies Desire
Podcast Notes
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
It was God who told Adam he was alone and needed Eve, Adam didn’t even know he needed a companion.
Delighting in God doesn’t kill your desires, it purifies your desires.
God’s presence will begin to pursue the wrong motives behind the good desires.
John 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
Delighting is more than prayer, fasting, or reading the Bible; it is loving God with everything in you.

Integrity by Intimacy // Vladimir Savchuk
Podcast Notes
Genesis 20:5-6 example with Abimelech
The secret of our success is the integrity of our heart.
Integrity is the state of being whole and undivided. The opposite of integrity is dishonesty, deceit, and being divided.
David was a man after God’s heart. In that pursuit, David’s own heart looked more like the heart of God.
Jesus said “learn from me” and began to describe His heart; not His power, His skills, or His works, but His heart.
Pursue intimacy if you want to grow in integrity.

Go Far to Get Fire // Vladimir Savchuk
Podcast Notes
One day Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of God. Exodus 3:1 NLT
Far into wilderness is where God was at.
Burned out leaders need a burning bush experience
If you want to get fresh fire, it’s beyond the borders of what you’re familiar with.
You will take people where you went
