I caught up with Pierce on the Ancient Unholy Uprising tour with Suffocation, Incantation, Skeletal Remains and Stabbing in Toronto at Lee's Palace. Cory sat down with Alan Cassidy from legendary death metal band The Black Dahlia Murder while they were in Toronto on the Verminous Remnant tour. This was a very fun conversation and the guys discuss the new beginnings of the band with the line up changes and how supportive their fans have been since the passing of vocalist Trevor Strnad and what the future holds for the band, as well as a tone of nerdy drum stuff like pedal setting, stage outfits, and the pros and cons of endorsements.
