No one knows wtf they’re doing. Don’t worry, we all need the reminder. Ever had a dream or goal come to fruition but you don’t feel like you deserve it? Ever gotten a promotion or new job and you’re certain you’re fucking it up and not qualified or capable? Ever compared yourself to others and convinced yourself you don’t measure up? If you’ve experienced any of these, you’re an imposter, just like us. We’re ALL imposters, technically. When you accept and embrace the reality that no one truly knows what the fuck they’re doing ( we’re all just winging it), you can find peace in knowing perfect doesn’t exist, and all you can do is try your best! Imposter syndrome is a manifestation of self doubt and lack of confidence. We share some personal experiences of imposter syndrome and remind you that you’re not alone, we all feel like imposters. We give some tips and techniques to help pull yourself back in when you’re lost in the imposter sauce. Sorry… I had to…

Hi guys! We are BACK to our regularly scheduled programming after a week off. And.... (insert drumroll and rounds of applause) BROOKE IS BACK! Thank god! And to kick off our newest episode with Brooke back on the podcast we thought we'd talk about something both of us struggle with. It sounds absolutely ridiculous that there could only be TWO possible outcomes to any situation, right? Well that's because it is, and essentially what black and white thinking is. We need to stop boxing ourselves in and creating unnecessary anxiety and pressure on ourselves by thinking in extremes. We'll share some of our struggle with it (which naturally being us, involves the gym) and some solutions to break those negative thought patterns and cognitive distortions.
As always, we love you all and thanks for tuning in! Don't forget to subscribe and leave a review. Also, if you have any clue what the fuck is going on or care to share your opinion on any topics we discussed, reach out to us at [email protected].

Hi everyone, welcome back and thanks for tuning into another episode, or if you're new, welcome! We're happy you're here.
I finally felt ready to discuss something that is unfortunately so very common: being in a toxic and unhealthy relationship. Toxic relationships can take many forms and are not limited to romantic relationships. *TRIGGER WARNING* In this episode, I discuss my own personal experiences of domestic violence. This episode is dark one, but also a real, honest, open, and vulnerable one. I share about my experience and story of being in a mentally, emotionally, and physically abusive relationship that lasted many years. Thankfully, I was eventually able to leave the relationship and continue to love, grow, and heal even after all the pain and suffering. I was even lucky enough to find a man who showed me what love truly is. My main hope for this episode is that by sharing my story any out there who may be in a similar situation that I was can fell less alone, and know that there is hope. If I could get out and move on with my life, you can too. And you absolutely deserve the real and genuine love you're so desperately yearning for, and it is not with that person. I also talk about some signs of unhealthy vs. healthy relationships. Your friends and family ALWAYS KNOW. Listen to them.
I also hope this episode sheds light for some of those people who may be blinded by "love" and manipulation, that no matter who the person is or what their connection is to you that if they disrespect you, put you down, and intentionally hurt you over and over again - they aren't going to change, and it's not your responsibility to change them. These are the hallmarks of a toxic relationship, and the best thing you can do is walk away and focus on healing, learning, and growing. I would also be more than happy to talk to anyone who wants to speak with someone who understands what they're going through (or have been through), or even if you just need someone to listen. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me at any of the links below. You deserve a kind, gentle, patient, caring, and selfless love, and you can start by choosing to walk away from the toxicity and abuse, and giving that love back to the person who needs it most: you.
With all my love,
Kelsey <3
As discussed in the episode, trying to leave an abusive relationship is the most volatile and dangerous time for a domestic violence victim. Please be very careful, and seek out help. I've provided some resources below for anyone who needs help, or to find assistance with taking whatever steps need to be done to safely get out. I have not personally used any of these resources, but did some research to provide us much help as I could.

Stop getting in your own way! The only thing separating you from your goals is your discipline. You don't have to be the best, the smartest, or the strongest to reach your goals. You just have to try and consistently work little by little, and you will succeed.

Hello beautiful humans and welcome back to our 30th episode! In today's episode Brooke and Kelsey are PISSED about the outdated and bureaucratic hellhole that shapes the typical American work culture: The 9-5. (which is actually 8-5 for most, and not even to mention a commute to and from work). We can't comprehend that we are brainwashed and forced into thinking that working out assess off to live pay check to pay check for a majority of our waking lives and youth is how we're supposed to spend our precious short time on this earth. IT'S BULLSHIT!! Close your eyes, and picture what an average day would look like for you if money wasn't an issue. Does it look vastly different than what you're doing now?
We should be able to have more control over our schedules, lives, and finances. We discuss how recently people are starting to change the narrative and challenging the traditional 9-5 works schedule, which makes it nearly impossible to have any semblance of a work/life balance. You may have heard about the study done in the UK from June 2022 to December 2022, where 2,900 workers at 61 major companies tested out a 4 day (32 hour) work week. Shockingly (more like, obviously) the businesses and employees reported mostly positive results. Productivity was the same or better in areas compared to previous years, employees reported vastly higher life satisfaction levels, heightened productivity at work, improved mental health, decreased stress and fatigue, better sleep... you get the picture. 56 of the companies that partook in the study have decided to make the 4-day work week permanent., and are urging others to consider.
We hope to keep pushing this narrative forward as the younger generations work their way up higher in the work place, to allow for people to have some control in their lives, work, and schedules that don't make them feel like zombies stuck in a never ending monotonous loop (insert scene of Incredibles when Mr. Incredible is slowly losing his shit doing the same thing every day in his cubicle). We hope this episode didn't bum you out as much as it did us.

Welcome back WTF fam!! Make sure to check out our Instagram story this afternoon for the winner of our very first giveaway will be announced today!
We decided to switch it up this week and toss out our previously planned topic immediately before pressing record, and just went with the flow of what felt right and aligned with our energy. SO, disclaimer **Y’all know how our late night recordings get. We cannot be held liable for episodes that are recorded after the sun goes down**. ANYWAYS, we’re here to remind you that your perception creates your reality, and that you have the ability to take step back from whatever emotions you’re feeling/experiencing whether that be negative or positive. We highly recommend reading Gabby Bernstein’s “The Universe Has Your Back” if this episodes resonates you. Gabby explains The Holy Instant – which is basically the instant when your perspective, and ? your reality shifts when you stop and evaluate your situation and say: “Wait a damn minute. This shit is out of my control. I actually don’t give a fuck!” and open yourself up to all the possibilities and opportunities that come with letting go. Don’t forget we are floating on a giant rock hurling through space around a giant fireball. Is anything that serious?

*TW: Eating disorders and mentions of sh*
Hi friends! Welcome back, and thanks for joining us for a very special episode! Today our very first guest, Audrey Coleman, joins WTF Is Going On to discuss a very difficult but very real and vulnerable topic: eating disorders and eating disorder recovery. Audrey and Brooke both struggle with an Eating disorder, Anorexia nervosa, and they’re here to open up and share their stories about working on their recovery from their eating disorders to help anyone who might be struggling, or know someone who is struggling with an eating disorder. Ultimately we hope this episode can provide hope and support and let you know that you are not alone, and Audrey also gives some advice from experiences and journey to recovery that might help you too. We love you, and we are here for you. We can't help each other or make progress as a society in acknowledging and treating mental illness and disorders if we don't openly discuss them. Below we’ve provided resources for help if you or a loved one are struggling with an eating disorder.
***A note from Audrey: "It gets better, I promise. Every bite is a success! I'm proud of you."
https://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org - offers a 24 hour hotline, along with a screening to see what level of care you may need with eating disorder education and information, and a live 24 hour chat.
https://centerfordiscovery.com - Center for Discovery, is where Audrey did residential treatment, and is one of the best Eating Disorder recovery facilities in the nation. Center for Discovery provides residential treatment, partial hospitalization treatment, and intensive outpatient treatment, but does not offer inpatient treatment. They also provide support for loved ones.
https://www.alsana.com - a community to connect with others with eating disorders also providing trauma treatment, and has a 24 hour hotline.
https://anad.org - specializes in anorexia and offers free peer support groups and is ran by recovered people and created by poc. They provide support guides and resources for loved ones as well.
https://www.allianceforeatingdisorders.com - offers free care and support groups for all different types of eating disorders, as well as support groups for loved ones. -
So you guys remember how in the last episode we were participating in a dry January? Well, we only lasted about a week LOL. Although we chose to drink, we cut back and limited our alcohol intake in a way that works for us in our lifestyles. We’re so proud of everyone who completed the challenge and are still going strong!
We wanted to talk about Alcohol in a broader sense, it’s uses, it’s horrible effects on the mind, body, and spirit, and that ultimately, at the end of the day, alcohol IS POISON.
We used to be heavy binge drinkers for the first half of our friendship during college, so we thought this discussion was also a great opportunity to share some stories of our college debauchery you guys have been asking to hear.

Welcome to a new episode of What The F*ck Is Going On! This week, we're talking about achieving your fitness goals, and taking the leap to prioritize yourself by committing to bettering your health and becoming (or staying) more fit and active. Since its January, and our last episode was on New Year's Resolutions, we figure many of our listeners have some new fitness goals (or resolutions, whatever floats your boat) for 2023. Whatever your goals may be, this episode is all about how to stay consistent in those goals, stop fear form holding you back, and celebrate all the progress you make along the way. We share some useful tips that will leave you feeling confident, motivated, and re-assured that you can do this, and you absolutley deserve achieve your fitness goals and feel your best. Having a consistent routine of body movement (lifting weights, skating, boxing, dancing, rock climbing... you name it) will have an undeniably positive domino-effect in your life. Here are some tips Brooke and Kelsey give in the episode to help you take your first step into the gym, or to reignite your passion for fitness and try new things:
1. Get enough sleep, and take rest days seriously
2. Know your "Why"
3. Be focused and present mentally
4. Be consistent. Your 100% won't always look the same. But something is better than nothing!
5. Find a body movement that feels good to you
6. Pre-plan your workouts before you hit the gym
7. YouTube/Tik Tok/Insta Reels can be very helpful to give you new ideas and correct form
8. Most people in the gym are focused on their workout, and not on you
9. There are always more ways to learn and improve
10. Nourish your body - food is fuel!

Happy New Year to our WTF Fam!! This is our first episode of 2023 and naturally, we thought we'd talk about how much we hate new years resolutions! Some people swear by them, and some people can't stand them. Personally we fucking hate them! You know those annual "oh shit I've got to get my life together" goals that we all feel so compelled to get a jump on around the start of the new year?? It can feel so pressuring and stressful for no reason. It doesn't have to be that way! While for many it can feel like a fresh new start on a clean slate, for others it can feel highly pressuring and create a lot of negative feelings and self image. There's nothing wrong with feeling motivated around the start of a new year, but feeling like you NEED to wake up and change your entire life on January 1st is actually a pretty good recipe for failure. It's unrealistic that you would wake up be a completely different person than you were 8 hours before. While we love the energy around the new year of positive changes and new beginnings, we want to stress that it's okay if you don't feel the urge to suddenly start training for a marathon. You don't have to wait until January 1st to start going after your goals. The truth is you can, and should, start whenever the motivation is flowing and it feels right to you. You can start December 20th, February 8th, April 13th... they are all other days, just like January 1st. It doesn't matter!
Brooke and Kelsey are participating in a Dry January challenge (inspired by Brooke's nasty Christmas hangover), and Brooke created an instagram support group so just DM us if you'd like to join too! We're still going strong on day 4. LMAO. We'll see. And we'll be keeping you posted. ;)
We love you all and wish an amazing 2023 for everyone!!

We have somehow made it to the very last episode of 2022. Can you believe it! In our episode to wrap up the year, we’re talking about our favorite least favorite drugs: Antidepressants. Today, over 50 percent of the American population is diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and a large chunk of those people take a little pill every morning to keep them same. (It’s us, we’re “people”). Brooke and Kelsey discuss their differences in opinion and beliefs about the use of daily medication for mental health. Should Brooke start taking Lexapro? Should Kelsey stop taking Wellbutrin? So sum it all up, basically we all need therapy, self care, and self love and we’re just trying to figure this shit out. But, easier said than done (which is exactly why Kelsey is on Wellbutrin lol). We feel your pain. We’re just here to try and help you through this lovely but difficult life as humans.
We cannot believe this is the last episode of the year our podcast was born! In February we’ll be celebrating 1 year of WTF is Going On. We wanted to THANK ALL OF YOU from the bottom our hearts for supporting us, believing in us, and giving us more and more drive and passion to make this podcast the best we possibly can and to grow with you and grow our community to help bring even more love and support among each other in our community in the coming year.
It’s been a crazy year, we had no plans of starting a podcast in 2021. Everything beautifully and serendipitously fell together, and we’re so happy to be here, and so happy to see where 2023 takes us. We won’t be posting an episode in two weeks so we can take a little break and spend time with our families over the holidays, so we’ll be back kicking off the year on January 4th, 2023.
Happy Holidays from us to you and yours, and we’ll see you next year!
With endless love and light,
-K & B <3 -
*TW* (This episodes discusses eating disorders and topics that may be triggering to some). We haven't done a Scam episode in a while, so we felt like bringing to you one of the dumbest, outdated, and embarrassingly inaccurate scams: THE BMI SCALE. And as I'm sure you'll hear from our tone in this episode, we are coming in hot, pissed the fuck off about it! It's something we've all heard of, and probably subconsciously hate thinking about. It's something that tries to define our health and force us into a certain view and perspective of our bodies, our health, and even our self image.
This scale is older than electricity in homes, the invention of cars, airplanes, Einstein's Theory of Relativity, bottle caps (...) I could go on. The BMI scale was made before we were able to keep meat cold. Let that sink in. So why the FUCK is this scale still being used 200 years later when we have changed and developed, and made so many drastic advancements in technology as a society. We think this is really fucking embarrassing we're still using this scale as a measurement of health. We're here to start forcing the narrative that the BMI Scale should not be used as a definitive measurement of someone's health in comparison to their weight, when it doesn't account for different ethnicities, genders, or lifestyles. You'll be (not) surprised to find out, it was created by a white European man, and the original formula to create it was based off of? You guessed it: white men!
The dire implications this stupid scale can have on the most vulnerable of people is so upsetting. Being told you're "overweight", as it's a negative thing, even when you may be at a weight thats healthy for YOU, or even having to think of your body and weight in this type of way is dangerously inaccurate and highly toxic. Your weight does not define you, in any way. One of the reasons we are so passionate about this topic is because of how many young women and men are affected by these narratives pushed by the media and this outdated scale, that you should look a certain way. This is a direct cause of why eating disorders are so common today, and one of the biggest reasons we are so passionate about this topic.

Let us say it again: F*ck social media!! We're so fucking sick of it bro. In 2022, social media dominates society. Have you ever thrown your phone because you were doom scrolling and looked up and 3 hours have passed? Because same. We're tired of the pressure and anxiety (subconscious or not) and inevitable comparison of yourself to others, and feelings of insecurity and inadequacy that social media creates. So we took this episode as an opportunity to hash this shit out.
We discuss why we feel that social media has a negative impact on mental health, self confidence and awareness and overall quality of life. We all need to take step back and evaluate ways we can enrich our lives and souls and do things to actually enjoy them, and not just to create a false image of perfection and success via highlight reels on social media.
Although it can be used for positive purposes, such as like inspiration and motivation, or promoting your business or art, we want to stress how important it is to set boundaries with yourself in your use of whatever apps you prefer, and be able to self reflect and check in with yourself when you feel social media is negatively affecting you. We hope this episode makes you feel less alone and heard - we fucking feel you!
And last but not least... BE. FUCKIN. REAL.

Hi beautiful people! You might have noticed that we’re in a new season of the podcast. Welcome to Season 26. After 20 episodes, we’ve both entered a new season of our lives (Kelsey just celebrated her bday so we're now both 26), and the podcast! Welcome to Season 26, Episode 1.
Today we wanted to talk about something that can change the course of your life if you let it. Discipline. The key to success is not being motivated, being the best, or being perfect. That's all a fucking lie so throw that idea tf away!!
If you haven’t listed to our last episode, go listen! We talked about manifestation and visualization, which is the first of two major key. This week’s episode gives you (or reminds you of) the second. You cant always rely on motivation but you can on discipline. When you don’t feel motivated which WILL HAPPEN (you’re only human, afterall) you have to know that you can always fall back on your discipline and routine. When you are consistent with your goals you build the foundation of trust within yourself. When you trust yourself you become more confident in your abilities to achieve anything you set out to achieve. Your limiting beliefs about yourself and others will diminish, and you will open your mind, heart, and life to the best possible opportunities and outcomes. You deserve it.
As always, we love you all and thanks for tuning in! Don't forget to subscribe and leave a review. Also, if you have any clue what the fuck is going on or care to share your opinion on any topics we discussed, reach out to us at [email protected].

The title speaks for itself. Manifestation is a powerful tool that we have both successfully used to change the trajectory of our lives and turn our dreams into reality. We want to hear that you’ve accomplished the same thing, because the reality is if we can do it, so can you. And we’re here to tell you how.
If you are intentional with your thoughts and take action steps (small and realistically achievable ones) toward your goals and remain disciplined, you can watch the universe begin to align in your favor and your wildest dreams come true. We wanted to share our personal experiences with manifesting and what worked for us, and provide some simple tips for you to add into your daily routine that don’t create any extra stress but will implement the change in your life you need. We hope you felt the love we poured into this episode, as it’s a topic that we’re both very passionate about and believe in deeply.
We hope you enjoy this episode and feel moved to become more in touch with your higher consciousness and the never ending universal flow of love, and we can inspire you to journey within. Whether you’re new to practicing manifestation or a spiritual practitioner, we hope that this may serve as a reminder and affirmation of your power and capability to create the life you love and deserve to live. We’ll be sharing the tips we mentioned on how to manifest your dream life on our website and our socials (listed below). With an abundance of love, THANK YOU to everyone single one of who supporting us. We are so grateful!!

Aka a therapy session. In this episode Kelsey and Brooke open up about some difficult things going on in our lives recently. Y'all know how life goes sometimes... the way you least expect it. The one thing you can out on in life: change. We don't just want to highlight the good times in our lives, and be open and transparent about the bad, which can also happen simultaneously. Although Kelsey just had a big cross country move and Brooke got into grad school, we're not afraid to admit that we struggle at the same time. We all have to deal with the stupid bullshit conundrum of fuckery that is life, so we know you guys understand. The purpose of this episode was to remind you that not everything has to be going "perfect", and bad and good can be happening in your life at the same time. And that's okay. Feel them both. Try to be present and gentle with yourself. Go to therapy. Take time for yourself. We love you and you deserve to enjoy life for all that it will bring, from devastation to euphoria.

Surprise!! We wanted to drop part 2 as a bonus episode because we didn’t want to make you guys wait a whole two weeks for the full episode on why you should say fuck it, jump for opportunities and take risks in your 20s, like Kelsey’s spontaneous cross country move. We hope to inspire anyone who may be on the fence about a fork in the road or major life decision. In part 2, we pick right back up where we left off in the last episode, so if you haven’t listened to part 1 go listen to that first!! We hope you all have a lovely week. :)
As always, we love you all and thanks for tuning in! Don't forget to subscribe and leave a review. Also, if you have any clue what the fuck is going on or care to share your opinion on any topics we discussed, reach out to us at [email protected].
