It's no surprise to Abby that on every personality assessment she has ever taken, she's as far to the Introvert side of the scale as she can get! Her husband is also relatively introverted and her two kids have followed suit.
As a research analyst, being introverted has always worked out well for Abby. She has a close circle of family and friends, enjoys her solo work, and has enough quiet time to recharge. May is Maternal Mental Health Month, and in honor of the millions of women impacted by Postpartum Depression and Postpartum Anxiety every year, we are welcoming maternal mental health advocate and author Colleen Imler to the podcast this week.
Colleen's passion for advocating for new parents navigating the postpartum experience stems from her own shaky transition into motherhood. After welcoming her daughter amid a global pandemic during the summer of 2020, she experienced postpartum depression and immediately sought help. Lots of things are going right for Cara. She and her wife were married three years ago. They love their house and their friends, and they are even looking to expand their family! They are excited to be first-time moms and are going through the IVF process.

Whitney has always loved to write, but as she has progressed in her career in fundraising she has found that her writing skills aren’t used to their full capacity. Kelly has worked in project management for an insurance company for the past six years. During that time she has given birth to her two children and is in the middle of her second maternity leave.
