Episode Four – The Premonition
In episode four, we hear about an individual who had a premonition about the murder of a local taxi driver, five weeks before the murder of George Murdoch.
We also hear from Allan Hendry again, the police dog handler, who was the first police officer to arrive at the scene of George’s murder. Allan tells us about his memories of that night, and why he thinks the initial search was handled badly?
And, in 2022, Police Scotland go on the hunt for an Iron Maiden fan, who could hold vital information about the murder of George Murdoch.

In the first episode of this cold case investigation, we go back to 1983, where we hear about the circumstances surrounding George Murdoch’s death.
We interview members of George’s family, as well as the first police officer who arrived at the murder scene on that fateful night.
