Ashwin presents a candid look at what it's like to go from being a fan of your favorite band to being hired to work with them.
Ashwin Deepankar is a backline technician and stage manager for Wilco Touring World. When he is not on the road he is The Loft session assistant. Outside of working with Wilco he is a drummer and recording engineer who has been in the Chicago music scene for well over a decade. Currently, he is working on a music project with his wife, Shara called Aatmaa which will be released this year. He resides in Chicago, IL with Shara. -

Some of the topics discussed were Wilco's collaborative approach as a band of six individuals, what it's like to work with Jeff Tweedy, and some of the best things about working at an impressive recording facility.
