Her passion for social justice issues led her to become a California chapter leader for Youth Activism Society and carry out local projects. Her initial love for leading delved into a curiosity for economics which led to her being an ambassador for The Future is Nova, a women's empowerment organization centered around entrepreneurship. This month, WiSTEM+ will be spotlighting Khensa Musaddequr Rahman, a dedicated member of the WiSTEM+ community! Khensa is a rising 10th grader at Stanford OHS, and lives in Morgantown, West Virginia. In school, her favorite subjects are Science and Foreign Language (specifically, Latin), and she hopes to one day study medicine. Outside of school, she loves to participate in martial arts and is part of the leadership/teaching program, competes in cyber security competitions, rides her bike through the West Virginia mountains, and watches basketball games. Learn about her interest in cyber security as it relates to STEM+ and leadership in this episode.
