Required warning given the flame reviews we occasionally get: We had no idea what we were doing in Season 1, and were still kind of figuring it out in Season 2. The show improves around season 3 in terms of tangents and audio quality (as we were able to afford better mics and hit our stride with our editor) and I feel like we got REALLY good from season 4 on (if we do day so ourselves). We are not an audiobook, we're two friends enjoying a project that we never expected more than a handful of people to listen to. There's random tangents. Our hardcore fans love it, some fans skip past them and that's okay. We hope you give the show a solid chance, and if you're okay with spoilers, we recommend listening to one of the episodes in Season 5 or 6 as proof that we get better. (Claire's favorite is 5.11, Kat's (and our fans') favorite is 6.4)

For those of you who have been anxiously awaiting, we're finally here!
For those of you who have no idea who or what we are, let us explain:
One of us is a fanatical Harry Potter fan, one of us is a casual fan, and together we are going to read novel-lengthed fanfiction. Our first story is a classic, much-loved fic called The Debt of Time, by Shayalonnie.
However, we will not be reading that in this introductory episode. No, we will be introducing ourselves, giving you a taste for our friendship, and educating you (and the co-host) on fanfiction vocabulary!
