    Professor Liāu Gio̍k-huî has already published more than 40 books, and 《彼年春天》is her first Taiwanese prose collection. This book writes about her relatives, people she encountered on trains, in hospitals, and at markets, as well as things she saw and heard. How did Liāu Gio̍k-huî begin recording Taiwanese books and writing in Taiwanese? What difficulties did she face? All of this is written in this book.

    Kim-niu was a Siraya woman who led troops against government forces during the Qing Dynasty. She was originally a female shaman healer, and later became a military advisor for the Heaven and Earth Society. This episode discusses Kim-niu's life story, and also explores the differences between Siraya religious shamans and Taoist shamans. How was the Plains Indigenous culture influenced by Han Chinese culture?

    Taiwan had imported condensed milk since the Qing era, and by the 1930s, it was importing 400,000 boxes each year. Taiwanese people traditionally did not have the habit of drinking milk, so why did they consume so much condensed milk? How did condensed milk become a nutritional food for infants, patients, and the elderly? This episode discusses the changes and development of condensed milk in Taiwan.

  • 柳清亮2017年出版伊的頭一本散文集。按這陣少年人的講法,伊是一个予做穡、做生理耽誤去的女作家。伊出世佇庄跤的一个大家庭、捌食頭路、後來佮翁婿做伙做生理,遮的性命經驗予伊的作品充滿疼惜、恩情佮人生智慧。

I chhut-sì tī chng-kha ê chi̍t ê tōa ka-têng, bat chia̍h thâu-lō͘, āu-lâi kah ang-sài chò-hóe chò seng-lí, chia ê sèng-miā keng-giām hō͘ i ê chok-phín chhiong-móa thiàⁿ-sioh, un-chêng kah jîn-seng tì-hūi.

    Liú Chheng-liāng published her first collection of essays in 2017. In the words of today's young people, she is a female writer who was 'delayed' by farming and business. She was born in a large family in the countryside, has worked various jobs, and later ran a business with her husband. These life experiences have filled her works with compassion, gratitude, and wisdom.

    "愛母語,不是愛選舉" is a book published by Tan Hong-hui when she ran for National Assembly election in 1996. The book title is her political platform. However, the content of this book doesn't have much to do with the election. Inside there is 1 poem and 11 prose pieces, writing about many female experiences and Tan's thoughts and ideals.

  • 1990年代𤆬頭陣寫台文的女性作家無幾个,張春凰是其中一位。1994年伊出版台灣第一本台語散文集《青春e路途:我e生活台文》。伊用台語寫旅行、寫花草、寫家庭、寫科學智識,伊欲寫逐人攏看有的台文,予台語文變做逐人使用的語言。伊猶做真濟台語事工,這集介紹張老師佮伊的頭一本冊。

I iōng Tâi-gí siá lû-hêng, siá hoe-chháu, siá ka-tēng, siá kho-ha̍k tì-sek, i beh siá ta̍k-lâng lóng khòaⁿ-ū ê Tâi-bûn, hō͘ Tâi-gí-bûn piàn-chò ta̍k-lâng sú-iōng ê gí-giân. I iáu ū chò chin chē Tâi-gí sū-kang, chit chi̍p kài-siāu Tiuⁿ lāu-su kap i ê thâu chi̍t pún chheh.

    In the 1990s, there were few female writers who wrote in Taiwanese, and Tiuⁿ Chhun-hông (張春凰) was one of them. In 1994, she published Taiwan's first collection of prose writings in Taiwanese, 'Chheng-chhun e lō͘-tô͘: Góa e seng-oa̍h Tâi-bûn'. She wrote about travel, flora, family, and scientific knowledge in Taiwanese, aiming to write Taiwanese text that everyone could read, to make the Taiwanese language become a language used by everyone.She has also done a lot of work for the Taiwanese Language Movement, and this episode introduces Mrs. Tiuⁿ and her first book.
