Stacey is a single mum in every sense of the phrase. Like many women around the globe, she is doing this journey completely solo, whilst holding down a full time job and playing taxi driver to her two pre-teens. Navigating family life and trying to find the elusive work life balance can be a rollercoaster. Be inspired by Stacey's drive for more, and listen to her stories, as she reflects on her decision to move from the UK to Australia in search of a better life.
Follow Stacey's journey, share her highs and lows and know that you are not alone. Celebrate the laughs and acknowledge the frustrations of a mum who does not receive any financial support from the father of her children. Share the sorrow, when life is hard and pain is felt, then enjoy the moments when God, Mother Nature and the Angels move Heaven and Earth to create cherished moments of happiness.
For lots of single mums, the feeling of being alone lingers often, even when we have busy lives and are surrounded by others. Know that you are not alone, that you share similar experiences and stories with other women out there. Knowledge is power!
About Stacey: Mum to a son in Heaven, two pre-teens and two fur babies. High school teacher, qualified therapeutic counsellor and self-published author. Proud scouser who is always trying to smash the glass ceiling.

This podcast is all about the elements that make up life. "Life" in my particular case involves a great deal of travel, working as I do as a roaming biologist, filmmaker, photographer, and writer.
As such I've been fortunate enough to visit some extraordinary, far-flung places, and experience encounters with animals large and small that will stay with me forever - these are described in the series. But there are of course the other elements to life - family, home, the weather, trying to run our small-holding in Devon, and generally immersing ourselves in the change of the seasons on the slopes of the valley that is our home.
I decided that "Elements" is a good name for the series, describing not only the worlds of water, earth, wind and air, but also the bedlam and chaos that make up everyday existence for all of us. -
