In this episode welcome back the awkward me for symptom 8 and one of my biggest attributes of BDP. I have always been called “hot headed” and it often got brushed off as nothing but that. In retrospect, my mum and I have explored many moments of my childhood that were not in the scope of the normal child tantrum.
-
In this episode we tangent off from my experiences of the 9 symptoms of BPD and reflect upon how difficult living with ANY mental health is on the daily.
-
In this episode I attempt to discuss symptom number 7. Unfortunately I don’t have the words to describe how intensely I feel this, so please recognize that this is a severe symptom someone with BPD can experience and effects our daily lives and wellbeing.
-
In this episode we discuss one of the most common symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder. It’s definitely the symptom most frequently experienced in day to day life, and by those around me. The emotional tailspin I experience by even the slightest “trigger” often leaves others in an emotional whirlwind of ‘wtf’.
-
In this episode we explore one of my less dominant features of my borderline personality. It’s difficult to understand where my borderline ends and my bipolar begins, but we’ll hopefully figure out more with time. Welcome to my journey with Alvin — my other personality.
-
Warning: please be advised in this episode I will be discussing suicide and self harm. If this is a trigger or too hard to hear please do not listen. This is my personal experience with both these aspects of this symptom of BPD. Please contact lifeline if you do need to talk or contact 000 if in a crisis. (please ignore the construction outside during this episode)

In this episode I describe what it’s like for a person with BPD in relation to who they are or who they’re meant to be. It’s the symptom I first remember displaying the thought process of someone with BPD, and something I am still struggling with. I hope it gives you some insight into why a person with BPD might suddenly stop ‘acting like themselves’ or switch ‘personalities’ frequently.
-
In this episode we discuss the difficulties with maintaining a relationship with BPD and why we struggle to do so. Please stand by for an emotional episode, this one hit close to home.

Here’s a rocky start to my journey with Borderline Personality Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder and anxiety disorder. Hopefully these will be more structured and less anxiety will come through in later episodes, but most of all I hope this helps someone going through this, helping someone through this or just understanding more about a personal experience of mental health.
