  • Episode 50?!

Wow, how did we get here?!

With a ton of amazing guests, for sure! :)

This week is no different! I've got Phil Kegley and Paul Chapin from HOW MUCH?! Studio/Production company in Austin, Texas.

They were gracious enough to not only be my guests for the 50th episode, but ALSO created an incredible set and recorded a very special Video Version of Artists Loving Artists in person at HOW MUCH?! to celebrate!

Phil and Paul have a unique ability to truly MANIFEST. "How Much?!" started as a simple concept to create a brand through the pandemic. Flash forward to 2023: they are a full on recording studio, production company, & live music venue that is as authentic as the fellas themselves. What an accomplishment!

Not only that: Phil and Paul are Musician's too -Listen in as we deep dive into their rich history of projects, how they met, and what their goals for HOW MUCH?! are! (Hint: they're on the right track)

Tune is as we enjoy each other's company in real life and hear their picks for the week!

Artists on Deck Include: The Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Frusciante, and Tool!

SO MUCH THANKS to Phil & Paul for hosting the podcast and myself.

Check them out on Instagram: @howmuchatx !

Cheers to 50 episodes, all of the ALA listeners out there, and here's to 500 more! :)

    Wowza!

Welcome back to “Artists Loving Artists”!
✨This one is such a gem- I feel so lucky to get to chat with some heroes of mine, this week's guest is no different.
✨Zach Gill (@zachgillalo) is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who can thread a common needle into his many projects by way of simply bringing his truest essence into each one.
✨Not only is he an incredible solo musician, he is also apart of the very popular California rock band: @alomusic (Animal Liberation Orchestra) and apart of @jackjohnson ‘s band!
✨Tune is as Zach and I have an amazing conversation about all he’s got going on!
✨We discuss how he manages to balance his multiple projects creatively, the phases of being an established musician (is there still pressure?), taking up art (can this help with music?), the authenticity of creation (is it even real?!), and even hear us discuss how Severus Snape is a teacher to us all! ("Always...")
✨That's not all: We get into Zach's picks for the week and hear how each Artist he loves is intwined so intricately into his own musical creations.
✨Artists On Deck this Week Include: Kenny Rogers, Regina Spektor, Elis Regina & Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Talking Heads!
✨Zach is currently gearing up to head back out on tour with @alomusic and will be back with @jackjohnson for his European tour this summer!
✨Check out all his creations and info @ zachgill.com and follow him on instagram @zachgillalo
✨This was truly sucha great time and a gigantic thanks to Zach for stopping by!

  • Welcome back to Artists Loving Artists!

This week is another banger of an episode: I've got Paul West as a guest on the Pod!

I happily stumbled upon Paul whilst on vacation on Maui, Hawai'i just a couple of weeks ago. Stopping by the infamous Fleetwood's on Front St., I was lucky enough to get a seat at the rooftop bar and hear Paul play to a FULL house with the Maui Mountains and Ocean surrounding us. What gig!

Paul's authenticity and song choices captivated me and I knew he had to be guest!

Tune in as we discuss Paul's journey from Texas>Cali>Maui, how his roots are intertwined with his music, all about the progress on his new album: Eight Palms Ranch, and get into his picks for the week!

We definitely agree: the Singer-Songwriter 3 chord formula works and his picks show you how...

Artists on Deck include: The Band, Jason Isbell, and The Talking Heads!

Do yourself a favor and check out Paul @ Fleetwood's on Front St. f you happen to be heading to or are on Maui (he's there every week!) Check out his updates at www.paulwestmusic.com and follow him in real-time on Instagram @paulwestmusic.
