And it's not like you actually need my permission, for that matter.

There's a tool that leaders, elites, and tastemakers have secretly used for YEARS.
And if you're into cyclical living, and aligning with the moon cycle, the cycles in nature, and your own body's cycle...
this tool can ALSO help you work with the cycles of the planets.
You know what I'm talking about... astrology.
It gets a bad rap for "predicting your destiny in a way that you can't control" -- but my guest today is here to tell you that if that's what you think astrology is, then you might need to talk to an astrologer.
LISTEN IN AND LEARN:
How to use astrology to pinpoint cycles of planting, cultivating, harvesting and resting; How to work with the energy in each of the days of the week (because each one is ruled by a planet!); andWhich aspects of your chart speak most to your business, work life, and aspirations.

Raise your hand (and I'm raising my hand already) if you're guilty of caving to FOMO-inducing marketing trends. Maybe you've felt one of these:
Oh, I really need to do a membership; or
Oh, I need to create a course — even if it's a mini course! — because that's a good way to bring in money; or
Everyone's on Tik Tok and I need to get on tick tock before it's too late!
…It's that kind of before it's too late feeling that just makes you tighten all of your muscles, clench your jaw, and clench your fists. It's not an ease-filled way to approach marketing.
My guest today, Maci, is all about a holistic approach to marketing.
This means, instead of looking at marketing linked only to the end result (sales), looking at it through the lens of “Okay, what feels good to me? What feels most aligned for me?”
Maybe you hate being on video. Maybe TikTok is your jam.
Maybe you hate the idea of writing a weekly blog post. Maybe writing a second nature to you.
Whatever it is. The end goal isn't just sales. The goal is finding the process and finding the things that grow your business. Things that grow your list, grow your income, but don't completely drain you or go against what feels natural and creative and fun to you.
That discovery process is what we’re talking about in this episode.
Listen in and learn:
Why looking at your metrics is a good start… but not the end-all be-all in marketing. The thing you should actually follow (instead of following FOMO-inducing trends)How the biggest challenge in your business can lay the groundwork for your marketing strategyPlus, listen in for the holisti-somatic history lesson on the Petoskey Stone 🪨

What if the whole point of sales isn’t actually to get your customer or prospective client to say “YES”?
I want to introduce you to the concept of consentual sales. And I didn’t come up with that, that was all my guest, Lyssa Scott.
Lyssa has created a formulaic way to sell — called consentual sales— that is super aligned, non-manipulative, KIND, and service-minded.
And it all comes down to things that you can implement that make people feel calm, comfortable and collected, that aren't sending them into fight, flight or freeze. And selling in a way where our nervous system is calm.
Doesn't that sound like a deep exhale?
Listen in and learn:
*How CrossFit coaching led Lyssa to her gritty, no-nonsense approach to sales
*Why super masculine style selling doesn’t work for intimate coaching relationships (and how to approach sales instead)
*What a heart-centered sales methodology looks like

Why didn't my client appreciate the extra time I put into this?
Why didn't my family complement the meal I spent hours making?
If you've found yourself questioning why someone didn't have the reaction you wanted to something you went out of your way to do for them.. you're creating an attachment to the outcome. And it's through exploring those attachments that can really help you to identify your triggers and your knee jerk reactions so that you can have a little bit more ease in your life and in your relationships.
That's where my guest comes in. Alyssa Zander.

Have you ever felt inexplicable stress in a given situation? Walking into a room? Walking through the forest? Or when a certain scent hits you?
That might be due to generational trauma -- things that have happened in your lineage (even before you were BORN).
And "mother wound" -- a type of generational trauma -- is a phrase that's been circulating in the healer spaces, but what does it mean? What IS a mother wound, anyway?
Put simply, mother wounds all boil down to your needs not being met. When our needs are not met, they stay with us and we keep searching and looking outside of ourselves for someone else or something else to meet those needs.
Does that strike a chord with you? Then you'll be fascinated by my conversation with Laura Lee Paha.
Listen in and learn:
Firstly, and very importantly: Why healing your mother wounds has nothing to do with blaming your motherThe science behind generational trauma and how does it show up in our livesThe essential core needs we have as children (and what happens when those needs are not met)Plus, keep an ear out for the holisti-somatic history lesson on Bach Flower Remedies. 💐
ABOUT LAURA LEE:
Laura Lee Paha, a dedicated generational healing facilitator focuses on empowering mothers with small children to break free from the cycles of family trauma. Her mission is to help mothers like you create a life of joy, peace, and amazing relationships with your children while ending the patterns of intergenerational wounds, without guilt, conflict, or blame. Her own journey as a healer began with personal experiences that shaped her life. She carried deep wounds of fear and rejection from being given up for adoption as a baby. These wounds manifested in various areas of her life, affecting her relationships, career path, and sense of identity. It was when she faced an abusive relationship and the impending loss of her beloved mother to cancer that she realized she needed support and guidance to heal and transform her own life.
Seeking peace and yearning for more joy, she embarked on her own healing journey. Through her darkest days, she experienced profound personal transformation. It became clear to her that sharing this healing work was her life's purpose. To further her understanding and practice, she became certified as a Family Constellations Facilitator, a DNA ThetaHealing® practitioner, and gained expertise in Reiki. Drawing on a decade of experience as a certified wellness coach, she integrated various modalities to create the healing practice she has today.
Beyond her passion for helping women heal, she finds solace in spending time with her partner, Stephanie, and their two fur babies, Asher and Huck, in their Nashville home. Traveling to new places, especially those that offer hiking and outdoor exploration, brings her great joy. As a self-professed foodie, Stephanie and Laura Lee eagerly anticipate their Friday night date nights, where they explore the culinary delights of Nashville's vibrant restaurant scene.

There a wellness practice that’s lumped under the label of “new age” that’s been around for centuries and that is mindfulness. But what is it? What does it do? And does it really WORK.
Mindfulness often gets lumped in with meditation but what it comes down to is this:
Paying attention on purpose.
Noticing.
Getting curious.
And, according to Rosa Castano, it is the secret tool you can start using today for stress management and, more specifically, handling things that come up that you automatically react to. (Especially in the workplace, but really in all facets of life!)
Listen in and learn:
How to incorporate little mindfulness moments throughout your day; Why, sometimes, we need to strip away our "roles" and professions and connect on a human level; What we can learn from our children about curiosity and a beginner's mindset; Our responding instinct (and how to put it on pause); andUsing habit stacking to your mindfulness advantage.Plus, listen for the holisti-somatic history lesson on CBD. 🌿
MORE ABOUT ROSA:

She has worked both in the domestic & international sectors. Like many others, she was forced to pivot to a new path after the COVID-19 global pandemic put a halt to her career. The shift allowed her to take the time to re-evaluate her career aspirations. As a certified Meditation, Mindfulness, and Movement leader, she decided to combine her passion for Well-Being and experience in the Corporate world to create Stress Management Workshops and talks. Are you in business for yourself? Is flexibility one of the top reasons why you started your own business?
If this sounds like you and you're not taking time to do what you love, we gotta have a heart to heart. Because the ability to do what you want to do is worthless if you’re not taking advantage of it!
My friend, Katie Hollowell, is really good about taking time off from her business guilt-free.
In this episode, you’ll hear:
How a “keep going no matter what”-style sales training shaped how she approaches work todayThe role positive self-talk has played in her personal and professional lifeThe ways Katie listens to her mind and body (and sometimes, silence)Taking care of your business when you’re on vacation (so you can, you know, actually enjoy your vacation)Why practicing saying “no” to clients is essential, even when it’s scaryPlus, listen in for the holisti-somatic history lesson on lepidolite. 🔮
MORE ABOUT KATIE:
Katie Hollowell is a mortgage lender professionally, but an explorer personally. She’s been in Nashville for 10 years, where she met her husband, Kevin and put down roots with their Frenchie, Louie. When she says she’s an explorer, it's because she isall in on discovering what the world has to offer. Katie loves to read, travel, listen, and learn. She’s currently working on expanding her horizons while also practicing appreciation for where she is right now. (Aren’t we all, Katie. Aren’t we all.)
