This is a concept I heard from elite utlramarathon runner Courtney Dauwalter who’s done some truly epic shit.
Before I heard her coin this phrase, it was a concept I’d started to recognise as being really helpful to push the boundaries on what you’re capable of and flip the script on the discomfort.
