In this week’s episode, Kate and Jac get pretty personal regarding diet culture, body image, and disordered eating. Despite pouring a ton of focus and intention into caring for their health through nutrition and exercise, they have both struggled with the pressures of body trends and societal expectations. One of the goals in this episode was to openly discuss both their personal experiences with body image and the intricacies surrounding the topic in general. By being vulnerable, Kate and Jac hope to reinforce that no one is alone in what they may go through during their own body image journey. The girls also explore the true meaning behind intuitive eating, and give tangible tips to implement that practice in everyday life.
