In 2016; a horror movie called “The Boy” was released. It’s about a young woman named Greta, who was hired as a nanny for who she thinks is a little boy. In reality, Greta’s employers want her to care for a life sized porcelain doll named Brahms. This doll was a replacement for the couple’s real child, who died in a fire years before. Soon strange things start occurring; and at the film’s climax, the viewer learns that the real life Brahms did not die at all. He escaped the fire, and he was living inside the walls of his parent’s home for years. And then…well…you need to watch this movie to find out.
This movie makes for a good scare, but imagine for a moment that you discovered someone hiding behind the walls of your house. For one family, this was a terrifying reality.

It houses three hundred rooms spread over twelve floors, and was the location for the very first Academy Awards ceremony. It has been featured in countless tv shows and movies, and it has housed Hollywood elite for years. With a history as long as this building has, it is no wonder that the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is said to be haunted by some very famous ghosts.

Werewolves have been part of folklore since the times of Greek mythology. In one of the earliest stories about werewolves; an Arcadian King named Lycaon decided to test Zeus by serving him a dish of his slaughtered and dismembered son to see if Zeus was truly the all seeing god that everyone said he was. When Zeus found out, he was furious. As punishment, Zeus turned Lycaon into a wolf and killed his fifty sons by bolts of lightning. He then brought the hacked up son back to life, and it was he that succeeded his father on the throne of Arcadia.
Through the ages, many have been fascinated by stories about werewolves. Experts believe there are several reasons behind this which include the duality of humanity, the escapism of the stories themselves, and the moral and ethical dilemmas that these characters face. We get a thrill from hearing about a werewolf being just like us during the day, but at night turning into an animalistic killer. But sometimes; reality is much worse than the stories that we tell each other around campfires at night, and the story of the Wolfman of Hanover is one of those tales.

The province of Alberta in Canada is known mostly for being oil country with farms sprinkled in-between. When I was growing up, I loved to travel off the farm to spend time with my cousins in the city of Edmonton. I would stay at my aunt and uncle’s home, and my cousins and I would roam wherever we wanted to. There was no reason for my aunt and uncle to worry, because after all…Edmonton was a safe place. But the thing is my spooky friends…it wasn’t.
On August 18, 2010; a young mother went missing and her remains were discovered a little over two years later by horseback riders. This was only the start of a living hell for the Tuccaro family.
