Catriona talks to host, Lucy Vine about her magical and deeply emotional new novel, The Matchmaker. They chat about the rollercoaster publication process and how Catriona hid copies of her book for days before she could look at them. They also discuss her amazing dream job, as Features Director of Cosmopolitan magazine, as well as Catriona’s various undercover journalism missions. The most niche comedian on the circuit, Harriet Braine joins the Hot Mess Clubhouse this week to play a fake trumpet and plan her Taylor Swift-style takeover with host Lucy Vine. The comedy pioneer has been killing it since winning Best Newcomer at the Musical Comedy Awards, winning the Funny Women Stage Award in 2016 and being a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny the same year. In 2017, she was a finalist in the Amused Moose Comedy Awards and was crowned Buxton Fringe Individual Comedy Award Winner. She’s now heading to Edinburgh Fringe with her third solo show, Les Admirables, a historical and feminist musical comedy show. On this episode, she chats about sexy Nigella Lawson, lizards from outer space, snogging inappropriate people and auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent.

The film and TV actor has graduated from playing the likes of Lindsay in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and Kate in Wild Child, to more grown up roles, starring as Josie in Fresh Meat and more recently storming the stage in the one-woman play Original Death Rabbit. She talks to host Lucy Vine about all her roles, snogging Aaron Taylor-Johnson, swearing, memorising 53 pages and chocolate.

You’ll know her from years as a brilliant stand-up comedian and her sell-out Edinburgh Fringe shows, but she’s also a writer and actor. She’s in the amazing BBC show People Just Do Nothing and the incredibly relatable Gameface with her friend Roisin Conaty. Genius Andi Osho is the latest addition to the Hot Mess Clubhouse. The genuinely hilarious actor and comedian has been on our screens for a while now, as a regular on the stand-up circuit and Channel 4 comedy panel shows, but in recent years she’s been focusing on acting. She’s appeared in new superhero film, Shazam, and stars in apocalyptic Sky series Curfew. And more importantly, she recently killed it on a celebrity version of The Chase. Host Lucy Vine and Andi chat about moving from comedy to acting, as well as a lot of sillier things that include zombies, sex with Bradley Walsh, and singing My Heart Will Go On.
