  • PRE-WARNING: We do BRIEFLY talk about weight loss and set point theory and what can happen after a while of recovery. However if this is a triggering concept for you, perhaps skip!

Kristina was on the show a long while ago (episode 205 "that's how shitty shit got") telling her HA recovery story... but what's she up to now? What does life look like years down the track? What is her relationship with food, body, exercise and even temping like now?

This is a seriously popular question, so we're venturing to get some updates from past interviewee's.

    Enjoy!

  • I received a great question via a YouTube commenter - is it too much of a stressor to take a cold shower during HA recovery? I have a personal opinion on this question, so today I tell you my thoughts on not just cold showers but also cold plunges/ice baths, saunas and hot yoga.

I also respond to another YouTube commenter about their overshoot weight gain and whether or not it makes sense for their height and weight. Enjoy!

  • In this episode, Ashley is joined by her client Meredith, whose story is a powerful reminder of the body's resilience. After years of restriction and over-exercising, Meredith broke her hip at age 30. At 32, she had a stroke due to a reaction to progesterone, and just three months later, she naturally recovered her period. Meredith shares her beautiful journey from being obsessed with macro tracking and micromanaging her body to finding balance and learning to work with her body.

  • In this episode, Ashley is joined by her client Kate, who shares her incredible journey to recovery after 15 years without a period and failed fertility treatment attempts. Kate actually came to us with a period but wanted to conceive. She had been told by multiple doctors that she would never be able to conceive. Deep down, she knew that wasn't true after she had already defied medical odds when she got her first period, despite one doctor telling her that her body just didn't want to have periods. Knowing they were wrong about that, she believed they must also be wrong about her ability to conceive. If you need some motivation and inspiration to keep going on your recovery journey, this is a MUST listen.
