A note about the recording: this was recorded before the tragic passing of Kevin Clark, AKA Freddy “Spazzy McGee” Jones earlier this year. We at Into the Fox Hole want to dedicate this podcast to him, as a celebration of his life and absolutely pitch perfect performance.

As a tribute to the recently disbanded Daft Punk, John and Will reach all the way back to Spring of 2020, when they discussed Random Access Memories with Will’s college roommate, teammate, and friend Ryan Tetro. The Fox brothers are joined by Will’s friend, and fellow member of the most elite unit in Division III sports, Dylan Slack, to discuss the groundbreaking young Adult crossover series Avatar: The Last Airbender. The gang runs the gamut on topics, discussing the game-changing nature of such a sophisticated children’s show, what bending ability is truly superior, and even what other bending abilities could be unlocked in this universe.

While braving the sound quality issues due to Bill’s rearranging of his groceries, the gang dives into all things Dead, from the mystique surrounding their famous live shows, to the confluence of factors that leads to this album in particular becoming one of their most famous.
