  • When life feels uncertain—whether it’s due to organizational change, societal shifts, or personal transitions—it can be hard to feel like we’re “thriving.” In this episode, I explore a question a client recently asked: “Is there a module on thriving through uncertainty?” We unpack that word thriving, examine why uncertainty is so unsettling for our brains, and walk through practical ways to manage ourselves and support others during those uncertain in-between moments.

I also revisit key concepts from Episodes 113 and 114 about navigating change and transition, including the Bridges Transition Model and the role of personality preferences. You'll learn how uncertainty affects our emotions, bodies, and behaviors—and how to regain a sense of agency with exercises like identifying fears, controlling the controllables, and leaning into connection.

Uncertainty doesn’t require perfection—it asks for presence, awareness, and self-compassion. Let’s talk about how to lead through it.

  • Leadership is about the human experience.

As a leader, your role is more than just making decisions and driving results—it’s about how you show up in those moments. Whether you’re inspiring a team, leading through change, or delivering tough news, the way you communicate and engage with people matters just as much as the outcomes themselves.

In this episode, we explore a real-world example of a leadership misstep in change management and break down why the human experience should always be at the forefront. Leadership isn’t just about strategy and execution—it’s about people. The way you lead determines whether employees feel valued, heard, and engaged, or demotivated and disconnected.

    We also discuss:

The impact of leadership choices on trust, engagement, and productivity The balance between making tough decisions and leading with empathy Why communication and transparency are critical in organizational change How leaders can align their words and actions for greater impact

Inspired by Maya Angelou’s quote, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better,” we’ll discuss:
