This week on the podcast, I’m sitting down with my friend Tracy Campbell, and let me tell you- this episode is flowinggggg with truth! Tracy’s love for Jesus and the way he prioritizes time in the secret place is remarkable. His commitment to discipleship is something we can all learn from. With decades of experience in acting, producing, and screenwriting, Tracy has such a unique perspective on bringing faith into the entertainment industry. His heart for Jesus shines through everything he does, and I walked away from this conversation feeling deeply encouraged in my own walk. I know this episode will bless you as much as it blessed me. I feel thankful to have a friend like Tracy Campbell!

This week's podcast episode is with my BESTTTT friend, Anjel Murphy. Together, we've weathered so many seasons, and recently, she's walked through some deeply challenging disappointments and in this conversation we open up about it all. Anjel’s joy is absolutely contagious, and hearing her share about her journey-including the incredible gift of becoming a mom through adoption-will leave you deeply inspired and a sense of feeling seen. I truly have no words to describe how much I love and admire this friend of mine!

This week’s guest on the Let Me Ask You This Podcast is with my beloved friend, Brittany Ross. Truth be told, we filmed this episode over a year and a half ago and I just KNOW God is releasing this in a timely moment. Brittany is the author of Dangerous Hope and is a woman who wears many hats. In this episode we do unpack pregnancy loss so please let this be your trigger warning in case that is something that may be hard for you to listen to right now. We unravel hope and the journey Brittany took to discover the source of it. I know you’ll walk away from this episode feeling related too and that you’re inheriting a new friend. <3

In this episode we have the one and only Jamie Finn! I thought about running a few victory laps while filming this episode because JAMIE. IS. A. PREACHER. This week we have the delightful Christian Bevere on the podcast and it was such a gift to spend a few hours together and chatting through life. Christian wrote the book “Breaking Up With what Broke You” addressing how God redeems and rewrites stories. Christian just welcomed her second baby, is a wife, an author, and has the most creative eye to make things breathtakingly beautiful! I know you’ll love this episode as much as I did!

This week's guest on the pod is one of my dearest and most loyal friend, Sammy Verner. Sammy carries a remarkable gift to see and serve people where they are at in a way I have never seen. She's never the loudest girl in the room but she's always the most compassionate. There is a steadiness and consistency to who Sammy is and how she shares the gospel that will mark you. She's a wife, a mom to a two year old angel boy, she's as competitive as they come, and spends her day to day as a physicians assistant. I know after you hear the authenticity from Sammy's heart you'll walk away encouraged and challenged to walk in confidence of how God has designed YOU.

Season 2 episode 18 on the Let Me Ask You This podcast is with my girl Brenna Blain. Brenna wrote a recently released and AMAZING book called 'Can I Say That?' and when I say I engulfed this book up in one sitting, I really did! I listened to the entire thing on a plane ride home and was in tears. The vulnerability of her story and the way she invites Jesus into the hard questions is such a breath of fresh air! In this episode we unravel the concept of suffering, community, mental health, same sex attraction, and the journey of inviting Jesus to reign in your life. I value this friends voice and walked away from this conversation so refreshed and inspired and I know you will too!
I wanted this episode to be more of a dialogue about real life instead of unraveling Brenna's story and so if you're here and want to hear more about Brenna's story here is a great podcast she recently recorded with Jackie Hill + Tyler Perry that you should listen too. Her story is raw, real, and has the fingerprints of Jesus all over it.
Here is also a link to her book, like I said, I can't recommend it enough!

Season 2 Episode 17 is with the one and only Abigail Eernisse founder of Abolitionist Collective. Abigail is a freedom fighter and had devoted her life to serving women in the commercial sex industry. She is a Kingdom-come kind of woman that will leave you so inspired to walk in purpose and rest. I have admired this friend of mine for years and every time we get the chance to catch up I just leave shaking my head in amazement at how deep of a well she has carved out with the Lord. In this episode we unpack the importance of a sabbatical, keeping your heart fixed on first love, and what it’s like working in the anti human trafficking industry. You can get involved with Abigail’s ministry by shooting her a message on Instagram.

Season 2 Episode 8 with your girlllllll, Ebie. One of my bestest gal’s, Lauren, was gracious enough to help host this conversation and based on y’all response from her Episode a few weeks ago, you loved her so this was extra fun! In this episode we cover the nuanced topic of grief. I know there are many dialects and colors of grief and I share my personal journey with befriending grief. I’m aware that sometimes breeching a subject as nuanced as grief can be heavy and blurry so please know this has just been my personal journey with learning how to unveil grief. As you listen to this episode I pray that you’ll be brave enough to begin hard conversations and uncover deep hearted questions with Jesus that you’ve maybe been afraid to open up. Would bless me if you share with me specific parts that speak to you.

Welcome back to the Let Me Ask You This podcast with Ebie Hepworth! This is season 2 episode 3 and on this episode we have an incredible human, Brittany Salmon! Brittany is SUPER WOMAN and is a professor, writer, and Bible teacher. She has a MA in Intercultural Studies and Teaching and is currently pursuing her doctorate from Southeastern Seminary where she is doing research on racial representation in Christian children's literature. She wrote a book titled It Takes More than Love: A Christian Guide to Navigating the Complexities of Cross-Cultural Adoption. In this episode we Brittany Salmon unpacks how she hangs in the tension of ALL of the things; school, teaching, family, writing, etc. She shares how when the temptation to be overwhelmed creeps in she always comes back to the story of Moses when it says "THE LORD HAS GONE BEFORE YOU". Brittany touches on the way she's navigated the nuances of adoption, supporting our children and their stories, and on having hard but necessary conversations as a family. I absolutely soaked up brittany's wisdom in this episode and I hope you do too! Be sure to grab a copy of her book on Amazon and follow her on Instagram!

In this episode with Liberty Fleming we unpack the emotions and thought processes that led Liberty to moving across the country. Liberty juggles many dreams and gifts, one of my favorites of them being the founder of a travel magazine, All for All. We talk through decision fatigue, the adrenaline of cliff jumping, moving as a single person, and saying goodbye to a good thing in hopes of discovering a great thing. We hope you enjoy this episode!
