Benjamin Tennant is a bodywork student and practitioner of clinical qigong. A series of unusual experiences led Ben to discovering the Stillness Movement lineage Neigong, which in turn, inspired him to abandon his career track in the finance sector and pursue the study of alternative healing modalities full time. Ben talks about his life-changing experiences and we discuss the challenge of reconciling spiritual outlooks within a scientism-leaning culture.

Lorel Sonny Zaide completed the Masters of Oriental Medicine program at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine with honors in 2008 and currently runs the Purple Cloud Center for Eastern Medicine in Chicago. www.purplecloudcenter.com
Having experienced tremendous anxiety and depression throughout his own life he specializes in the treatment of emotional and spiritual wellness – such as stress, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, as well as the physical pain that comes along with emotional imbalances such as insomnia, headaches, migraines, hormonal imbalances, and digestive issues.
Sonny is a certified practitioner of Clinical Qigong in the Stillness-Movement Lineage under the Institute of Chinese Energetic Healing, and nationally recognized as a Qigong instructor and Clinical Qigong practitioner by the National Qigong Association.
His unique synthesis of acupuncture, TCM and Clinical Qigong, coupled with his intensely rigorous cultivation practice make him a formidable healer, able to get immensely impressive results for many emotional disroders that are intractable, poorly understood and even more poorly treated by allopathic medicine.
Sonny's dedication, expertise, insight and compassion is truly awe-inspiring and I have found that my own practice has deepened just from talking with him. Please visit www.purplecloudcenter.com -

Brian Willis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in applied physics with a concentration in electronic engineering. He started a master’s program in applied physics but after starting a family, decided that a career in industry would make more sense and went on to receive an MBA. He is currently working as Chief Information Officer in the IT industry. Nevertheless, Brian has never lost his passion for physics and has been actively keeping up with the latest developments and discoveries in the field. Also being a dedicated qigong practitioner, Brian is in a unique position of being able to give insight into cultivation practices by positing some scientific explanations for concepts and effects that have traditionally been relegated to the realm of metaphysics or limited to being viewed through the lens of subjective experience. Quantum physics seems to be the realm where the rational and the impossible are inexorably connected and may be the best starting point in trying to think scientifically about some of these effects, so I was really excited to talk to Brian and he did not disappoint. Please enjoy my conversation with Brian Willis.
