She credits her daughter with saving her life by calling the police, she would have been dead without their arrival. Time passed and a life threatening horror scene occurred once again, this time ending in her partner’s arrest. Finally, Marica and her Daughter felt truly secure. A year before the end of his sentence, Marica’s ex-partner was released, leaving Marica and her daughter to feel unsafe once again. However, Marica learned that anger and fear were obstructing the path of prioritizing her well being. This realization has allowed her to let go and surrender, leading Marica to a life of fulfillment despite her past. “Forgiveness does not condone,” said Marica. Tune in to learn how letting go has led Marica on a path of peace, regardless of the physical and emotional trauma she had endured.

Growing up in a Polygamist cult, Victoria’s life was planned out for her from the very beginning, including being promised to a man in his forties when she was only eleven. Hopeless that she would ever find freedom, Victoria found herself on the edge of a cliff with the intent of taking her life. All the while, a voice inside her insisted that there must be a better life for her out there, and so she stepped away from the cliff and ran away from the only life she had ever known to find her true destiny. Although this was not the last time Victoria would face hardship– eventually having to start from scratch after the 2008 recession and upon separating from her husband– she now had the strength she needed to stand back up after being pushed down by the trials and tribulations of life. Tune in to discover how Victoria refused to give up and continued to rebuild her life despite the many setbacks she faced.
