This week's conversation is with returning guest Alexandria Smith! Alex is a wife and mother to four living on a farm in South Carolina. In today's episode, I pick Alex's brain on a number of things, including what it looks like to establish rhythms as a family, how to feed our families well, and how she approaches clothing her children, especially since she has both boys and girls. We also touch on how she spends time with Jesus throughout the day as a homeschooling mother to four. This episode is very practical, and I hope that the tips and stories she shares will leave you feeling inspired to try something new in your home!

We're back this week for part two of my conversation with the lovely Michelle Garrels! Michelle has become my mentor and a dear friend over the last year. She and her family of seven live in Michigan on their small farm, homeschooling and cultivating beauty with their hands. Today in part two, Michelle and I discuss how to discern what is life-giving, knowing how and when to surrender, and how to parse out the difference between loving beauty with Jesus' call to reject the world. I'm so grateful for Michelle's heart, for her wisdom, and for her willingness to share both with us. Be sure to listen to part one of our conversation on episode 58, where we chat about her journey growing flowers and how we can joyfully embrace limitations with the help of the Holy Spirit.

I'm sharing a conversation I had with Kennady Davis, host of the MOM Chats podcast, for her show, which aired back in February. I got to share all about my journey switching from an iPhone to a Light Phone. I also reflect on misconceptions I had when entering motherhood, and what my first year was like mothering two under two.
