This year I've been working with small businesses and solo founders and the discussions centre on overcoming a particular challenge or problem. I'm a firm believer that most marketing challenges can be solved by looking at your messaging, targeting and positioning. So this short solo episode is dedicated to that.

Is your built environment firm making the most out of LinkedIn?
It's the social platform for business and has so many hidden features that you may not know exist.
The latest episode of The Built Environment Marketing show hosted by me Ayo Abbas is taken from a LinkedIn Live event that I did last week with property writer Stacey Meadwell.
LinkedIn has a brilliant range of content creation tools, but not all of them are immediately obvious or are underused as they donāt really shout about the fact that they exist.
Many of these features and tools can increase your range of content, boost engagement and propel your reach. They can help you stand out from the crowd and build stronger connections.
We did a deep dive into: Creator mode, LinkedIn Events, LinkedIn Audio and LinkedIn video and tons more.

2023 was the year where AI dominated the news with the introduction of ChatGPT from OpenAI and also became mainstream a tad overwhelming.
So for the first 2024 season episode of The Built Environment Marketing Show, I'm joined by Amy Walters and Jessica Barrett to give built environment firms a quick intro to AI so you can get on and get started.
Itās a case of not being fooled as AI wasnāt really the new kid on the block but has been around for quite some time. And itās already in many of the day-to-day marketing tools you may already use.
We talked about how built environment firms can harness AI in their marketing and provide practical ways of application from marketing, content creation /communications and graphic design perspectives so thereāll be something that will apply to us all.
Key takeaways:
- A quick rundown on what AI is
- AI tools that weāve used
- Practical ways you can get started using AI in your marketing workflows
The Built Environment Marketing Show is hosted by marketing consultant and content creator Ayo Abbas. It is unashamedly about marketing for architects and engineers. And I'm happy that we tend to go deep and real conversations with real marketers out in the open. I want you to be so inspired that you come away wanting to try new things.
