Together with his expert guests, Dr. Stieg takes us on a journey that reveals unexpected secrets at every turn, and redefines what we know about ourselves and our place in the world.
The podcast explores the many fascinating aspects of neuroscience, ranging from how the brain is wired for both sudden bursts of violence and the pervasive inner calm of meditation. Where does confidence come from? How do we remember traumatic events – or do we? How do other animals experience consciousness? Does storytelling change our brains?
Take the journey with us as we explore the very foundation of what makes us human. -

The Real Truth About Health Conference is dedicated to the talented professionals that tell the truth about health, nutrition, our food systems and our environment. These podcasts highlight past conferences of world renowned experts in their fields. Are you being told the truth about health, nutrition, the food system and the environment? If a product or industry is not making money for someone then there is no one with an incentive to promote that industry and its products. That is why even if something is very healthy for you such as radishes, clover sprouts, sunflower sprouts, lentil sprouts, wheatgrass, root vegetables, sea vegetables, raw sunflower seeds, raw flax seeds, raw Chia seeds etc. they are almost never promoted because no one has a financial incentive to study them or to tell you about their benefits. If a product is not really healthy for you and is not the best choice for you compared to others but it makes a lot of money then the industry behind that product has a huge financial interest to perform studies and trials on the product to try and prove that it has benefits. It has a financial incentive to promote this product in magazines, do scientific studies on the product and advertise the product. The net effect is that people believe that this product is getting so much attention because it's so good when really there are other products that are better but those products just don't make as much money. Therefore an inferior product might be constantly praised, studied and talked about not because it's really that great but because so much money is spent to promote it because it's a good moneymaker.
