Today’s affirmation is: I forgive myself.
As I’m recording this it’s the last few hours on the last day of the year. For many of us, this year has been A LOT. It came with some high highs and some really low lows. And when things go bad, the tendency is to treat yourself badly, too. We talk down to ourselves. We bring up past failures. Sometimes, we can be downright mean. It has to stop. It’s time to forgive…not them, you.
In this episode, I'll share an exercise to help you forgive yourself. Grab a piece of paper and a pen or have your phone handy. After listening, please rate the episode, leave comments and share. And if you’d like to show your support or learn from me in other ways, please visit linktr.ee/inspiredmedia1. Until next time, have a great day and an amazing new year.

I’ve been hearing two loud but different messages on how you should approach the month. One is to Finish Strong. Buckle down the last few weeks of the year. Do whatever you can to make holiday sales.
The second message is to Finish Light. Rather than attempt to finish the year strong, do as little work as possible. Set your business aside for a bit.
Not sure which of these you should choose? Listen to find out my suggestion. I even share a short exercise to help.
If this episode resonates with you, please let me know in the comments, like, follow and share. To get tips like these directly in your inbox, join my mailing list. Have a great week and a happy December.

Sometimes the day does not go as planned. As you get ready for bed, your mind immediately starts to replay all that went wrong that day. Don't let it. This affirmation reminds us every tomorrow is a new chance for something better.
In this episode, I'll share an exercise to help you see the potential in tomorrow.

Today's affirmation is: I am Grateful
Our brains can be so quick to dismiss our progress. We must be intentional about expressing gratitude for the things that are working. In this episode, I share the science behind gratefulness, give an example to help reframe your thoughts and, as always, leave with you an activity to apply the information throughout the week.
When you’re done with this week’s activity, you’re welcome to share some of your list in the comments.

Today's affirmation is: I Stay in My Lane.
If you find yourself comparing your life to others in a way that's unhealthy, you're probably in the wrong lane.
If you have shiny object syndrome and regularly jump from project to project, this affirmation will help.
And if you micromanage the people you've hired to help you because your way is the only way, learning how to stay in your lane can change that.
In this episode, I run through each of these scenarios and leave you with tips to make it easier to stay focused.

Today's affirmation is: I embrace guilt-free rest.
Do you know how to rest? I don’t mean when you stop working on one project in favor of another or forego client work to wash the dishes. I mean true, relaxed body, guilt-free rest.
It’s okay if you don’t. Not many of us entrepreneurs do.
There’s this pressure to jump right back in no matter what's going on in your personal life. It's a silent fear that if we take time off from school or work or our business we’ll never be able to recover.
We're tired but guilty.
1 in 3 Americans feels bad about taking time for themselves, even though 67 percent desperately want more of it (2019 Kelton Global).
Somewhere along the way we started thinking that leisure time is not time well spent. Let's reframe that. Embrace guilt-free rest.

Today’s affirmation is: Everything I did today was enough.
If you find yourself restless because you can’t stop thinking about all the things you didn’t get done today, this affirmation will help.
The success of your day is not only measured by productivity. Use the affirmation at bedtime to release the stress of the day.
Remember, the better the sleep, the more refreshed you’ll be when you wake up.

Picture this. You’re at the end of a phone call with your ideal client. You’d love to work with them, and they seem excited to move forward with you, too. “So,” they start, “I really need what you offer. It’s just what I’ve been looking for. In “It’s Okay to Get Paid What Your Services are Worth,” I’m going to share:

How you start your day sets the tone for the rest of it. My most productive days come when I follow a regular routine. One of the most important pieces of it includes saying positive affirmations. We already know that our subconscious mind plays a big role in achieving our desires. If you think positively about yourself, you're more likely to do things in your best interest, for example.
In this podcast, I'll share 10 of the positive affirmations I say every morning, why I chose each one and what mind trap it negates. Use these to retrain your brain each day, especially when things like lack of confidence, procrastination, fear, perfectionism or overthinking start to creep in.
