The Dutch occupied Indonesia for 300+ years, and yet somehow, today’s media is still obsessed with painting Muslims as the extremists. Cute. In this episode, I’m diving into the REAL history of Islam in Indonesia, the sneaky tactics of colonizers (spoiler: they even tried to mess with Hajj), and how Western narratives still try to control the story.
