This week we bring you breaking news from the Night Demon camp. Deluxe reissues of the band's back catalog (much of which had been out of print for some time) are available now, freshly remastered and with special bonus tracks, unique packaging and color variants. All three of Night Demon's first three seminal releases - the self-titled EP, Curse of the Damned, and Darkness Remains - are included in the reissue campaign, and are all being reissued through the band's own Night Demon Records imprint. (The one exception is that the reissues for Curse and Darkness are being handled in Europe by SPV/Steamhammer Records.) You will hear why it was so important to the band to reissue their back catalog now in new and improved physical editions. Armand explains his objectives in remastering the albums. And Jarvis walks you through the track listings and variants for each title. You will also hear excerpts from special bonus tracks gracing these editions.

This week we bring you the fourth installment of our retrospective of Night Demon's first major North American tour, playing with the mighty Raven in 2014. This episode finds the boys grappling with finalizing their contractual commitments for licensing and distribution of their first album, Curse of the Damned, Simultaneously, they were preparing for their tour kickoff show in Atlanta, which turned out to be a success despite various technical difficulties. From there, the tour rolled on to a disastrous gig in Memphis, followed by a day off in treacherous New Orleans. Just days into the tour, the Night Demon boys were realizing that road burn is real.

In the fall of 2014, Night Demon launched their first full-scale US / Canadian tour opening for NWOBHM legends Raven for a grueling 45 shows in 53 days. In this week's episode, we explore the circumstances that coalesced to make this tour happen. You will hear about the band members' love of and respect for Raven, including the memorable tour stop when Brian played drums with them. We cover the band's spring 2014 tour of Europe that actually laid the groundwork for the Raven tour, with particular emphasis on the Pounding Metal Festival in Spain in May 2014. This week, we take you back down memory lane to the early days of Night Demon, as they bubbled up from the seedy underbelly of the Los Angeles heavy metal underground. You will hear the context of Night Demon's drummer vacancy being filled by Dusty Squires in a session capacity as the band began recording what became the Curse of the Damned album.
