This week, Valeria is joined by iconic Victoria's Secret Angel, supermodel, and entrepreneur, Taylor Hill. Taylor opens up about her journey as a model, beginning with her career's early start at the age of 14 and the challenges of growing up in the modeling industry, including dropping out of high school and navigating the pressures of public life. She also highlights the pivotal moment in her career when she joined Victoria’s Secret at 18, which propelled her into the global spotlight. Taylor reflects on the brand's past promotion of unrealistic beauty standards and expresses her support for its recent shift towards inclusivity and authenticity.

Beyond her career, Taylor talks about the importance of family support, particularly her mother’s unwavering presence during her early modeling years. She also touches on her approach to body image, embracing the changes that come with aging, and the value of self-acceptance. The episode takes an emotional turn as Taylor discusses her deep connection with her late dog, Tate, and the grief of losing him, as well as her experience with the loss of an unplanned pregnancy. Taylor's reflections provide a candid look into the complexities of her life, both in the spotlight and behind the scenes.

Hi guys, today, we have a SOLO episode! I love my job and I love being able to connect with you all through social media but I’m also hyper-aware of how it impacts our minds and perceptions of those we follow. We know by now that social media isn’t REAL, it’s all the best parts and it often flattens us into two-dimensional characters. And it is so important that we remember that we are all more complex, that we’re all trying our best to figure things out as we go. There’s no such things as a perfect parent or a perfect relationship or a perfect business. We all face challenges whether it’s internal or in our environment and I hope this episode makes you feel less alone in that.

This week, Valeria is joined by her good friend and supermodel, Toni Garrn. Together, they explore the depths of Toni's journey, from her early days in the modeling world to her current impactful role as a philanthropist. Valeria and Toni chat all things saturn return, turning 30, divorce, finding a balance between work and motherhood, and about how to find a greater purpose in life through acts of service for others.
Toni Garrn is an internationally successful supermodel, actress, philanthropist – and entrepreneur. Since the age of 15, Garrn has regularly appeared in front of the camera for well-known luxury brands. In her mid-20s, she founded the Toni Garrn Foundation, which supports educational initiatives for girls and young women in sub-Saharan Africa. Together with local partners in Ghana, Uganda and Burundi, the organization provides educational opportunities to more than 650 girls annually.
This year, Garrn also became a social entrepreneur: She founded SUPER FLEA MARKET, a platform for pre-loved celebrity fashion where every sale supports a network of social and environmental justice initiatives. superfleamarket.org will go live in May 2024.
