For this episode, I invited my own mum to come and give me her perspective on my decision not to have children. She talks about her changing views, her reconciliations with life's curveballs and her advice for other would-be parents.
Follow my mum on Instagram.... just kidding. She doesn't know how to use it.

Thanks to a slight issue in the post-edit suite there is no intro for this episode, so allow me to share one here... I have never really given a huge amount of thought as to the financial opportunities that not having children will enable ( aside from knowing that I would simply have more money to spend!). So when i was contacted by Bri, who wanted to come on the podcast to talk about Childfree Wealth, the specialist financial planning organisation for childfree people, I was very interested to learn more. This episode was extremely enlightening for me, and gave me a lot of food for thought.
In not having children, we are all free to choose how we want to spend our money (and our lives), and Childfree Wealth can support in this. You can read more about them at
