In this Epiosde I got to talk with Jennifer Giralo. Shes a Improv comedian and is journeying into the world of Standup. Our conversation begins with Standup and writing methods. We then talk about or former years as Emo kids and what it meant to us at the time. looking back now in our 30s and revisiting lyrics and bands with a different perscpective. we get deep and talk about media and music and how it portrays love and heartbreak and how it can sometimes be in a toxic way. And then we made a killer Emo playlist full of nostalgia and fun and I even give Jennifer a couple things she may have never heard. This episode was a blast and i hope you enjoy!

This is a 2 part episode combined into one. Kevin Benoit comes back to Playlists with People as my first ever return guest! we were going to do a 2020 recap, but after talking we decided that this was the year of Griselda. today I got to talk with Florida based rapper 5an. we had an awesome talk about life and about unapologetically being yourself and creating your art. They just dropped a track called BUY IT which caps off the playlist we made at the end. but 5an is consistently putting out new music and has a ton of projects just in 2020 alone! quarantine has not stopped the momentum. We discuss the importance of consistent output and self marketing. and how to stay in your lane and stay focused and the mindset it takes to be a creator especially in rap today.
