On our return episode of the Raconteur Collection, we are joined by Michael to talk about something that has grown to prominence, Remasters. Whether it's old games being upscaled, a fine new dash of pixels, or a full blown remake from the ground up we talk about them all and in Raconteur fashion, go off on a few tangents.

Jack - My biggest mess up this year is mistaking SoTFS (scholar of the first sin) for SoTC (shadow of the colossus) abbreviations and trying to cover it up on the podcast episode. I did correct it but I'm just embarrassed...

We all sit down to talk about not only a childhood favorite but also a current fad that recently gripped the casual gaming scene by storm. Animal crossing is a game that not only let;s you experience capitalism in a fun way but also let's you explore the unique charm and characters that inhabit the town. Games like this, Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon and more all envoke feelings of nostalgia and good times.

Hello and welcome back to Chapters. This week we take one step closer to end of the Chronicles of Narnia. The Silver Chair is perhaps the black sheep of the stories. A story of messing up and not knowing the correct path. However, even when all seems grim and dark if you count on a trusty Marshwiggle you just might make it through. Is Charlie a Marshwiggle? Will Jack get free from the Silver Chair? Is Michael ever coming out of the basement? None of these questions will be answered.
Chapters is hosted by Charlie Mohn and is his brother Jack. If you enjoy what you hear tell your friends and give us some love at patreon.com/raconteurcollection

Welcome back to the Raconteur Collection. This week we are again joined by long time backroom escapee Michael. Once again he has escaped the dark liminal spaces beneath my home and joins the table to talk about one of out all time favorite games. The boys discuss how and why Stardew Valley pulled them in, Jack explains why it took him so long to play and what pushed him away the first time, and at the end, we all agree that ancient fruit wine trumps all other sources of income.

Double Take is a series hosted by the Raconteur Collection that takes a look back at some games that didn't really stick. A new experience with a new mindset to see the why and the how of enjoyment or tedium! Jack and Charlie finish up MW2019 this time around and I think the game that is next will be a big suprise!
