With an economy almost running on just oil generated revenue, fluctuations in other sectors to a large extent will mirror that of the oil sector.
90% of Nigeria's exports are oil based, 70% of government revenue is from crude oil sales.
In 2016, the country was the 15th largest oil producer in the world, it has the 11th largest oil reserve and 9th largest natural gas reserve in the world.

Banditry so far is challenging the foundations upon which our civilization stands.
The existence of our cities and our ability to survive is threatened and the economic well being of the larger population has shown to be the root cause of these agitations.
Agriculture and surplus food production from which our civilization built it's base is at the forefront of being destroyed.
We can hide in our castle but for how much longer. -
