This episode I discuss how absolutely ridiculous the "console wars" really are. From click bait headlines, to arguing over logos, to not understanding the "specs", to not researching what hardware is actually in the plastic box you are buying. The big box gaming media sites are not doing anyone any favors as they seem just as uninformed and are trying to capitalize on click bait.
-
On today’s episode I am going to explore reviewing games as a Fan vs. Critic, why I think game reviews are broken, and I provide some examples by converting Metacritic score to Rotten tomato’s.
-
Talking the Xbox Series X announcement and gamer's ridiculous reactions to everything. sdfsdf

Stadia is insane, how haven't they solved the internet infrastructure problems in the world. I'm bringing back reviews and have already written most of my Luigi's Mansion 3 review. Bethesda is taking advantage of me with a Fallout 76 subscription model. Blizzard needs to be reprimanded even after we cancelled them after they layoffs they had earlier this year.

Microsoft, Gears 5, gamer's arguing about Gears 5 review scores, Astral Chain, Control, Ray Tracing

Level setting on the podcast, what I discuss, where I discuss it, and why I discuss "it."

-
On this weeks episode Mike discusses the leaked e-mail from BioWare GM, Casey Hudson, and why it further proves the point that anonymous complaining to outlets is also a culture problem. Also introduced is a new segment called Jack@$$ journalism. This week the topics include narratives perpetuated by the games industry, writing off Epic game store concerns because we should be worried about false narrative, and our low standards for Nintendo.
-
Is the Epic store and epic games growth strategy smart business, laziness, or BS? Might be all three. Gamers demand an easy mode in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. What happened to Nintendo, they now specialize in forgettable and uninspired platformers and boring adventures.
-
It's another week and we have more drama surrounding the games industry, work environments, and unionization. This time the media takes aim at BioWare. Let's talk about it.
-
This week Mike discusses Sony's State of Play presentation, two new Nintendo Switch hardware iterations, VR, and the gaming communities reaction to everything.
-
This episode Mike shares his thoughts on Google Stadia, game streaming, and cloud services.
