    Rachel Lim is an avid self-starter who founded Singaporean brand Love, Bonito as an online fashion business at just 19. Today Love, Bonito is a multi-million dollar International label where it is not just about fashion business but a business for women. Rachel uses her voice and her innate ability to engage, relate and connect with women, to amplify Love, Bonito female empowerment values. Rachel has been an inspiration to many and we were able to speak with her on her journey as an entrepreneur.

    Victor lives and breathes by this mantra of the late Alan Fletcher, founder of globally-famed design company Pentagram.

    Victor was a designer first and foremost before becoming a barista, ice-cream maker and a dad.   • Athena founded and leads Zumvet — a digital health platform that leverages technology to democratise accessible pet healthcare. She was previously CEO of Doctor Anywhere and has consulted on various healthcare projects in Singapore. Athena, paw-rent of 3 cats, experienced challenges to get medical advice for her pets and decided to solve the problem head on. In 2019, she and doctor Grace Su launched ZumVet. To date, Zumvet has raised US$3.7 million in Series A funding.

  • This second episode on HOW WE GOT HERE, we have Chris Lee of Asylum Creative on the set. Chris Lee is one of the design change-maker in Singapore. He was the founding president of The Design Society Singapore, a non-profit organisation aimed at promoting creativity in Singapore, and has sat on the board of Design Singapore. Chris is the recipient of the President’s Design Award, Singapore for the ‘Designer of the Year’ and ‘Design of the Year’ categories in 2009 and 2010 respectively. He has served as a juror for many of the top International creative awards such as D&AD, Red Dot, The One Show and Tokyo Type Directors Club.

  • This first season we are curious to learn about the journeys of the founders & creative entrepreneurs, and how they got to where they are today. Pann Lim of Kinetic will kick off this first episode of the series. Pann is the co-founder and creative director of Kinetic Singapore. He was also named Singapore's Most Influential Creative Director by the Institute of Advertising Singapore in 2012. With over 500 local and international accolades to his name including President’s Design Award in 2013 and 2015, Gold Pencils at New York One Show and Cannes Lions, Pann is truly a leader in the design industry. Together with his wife and two children, Pann also runs the art collective Holycrap.sg that creates the world-famed Rubbish Famzine.
