It’s been quiet for the last six month. Ondrej recently switched jobs and took on a new opportunity as an in-house designer for a Czech car manufacturer. He may share more in upcoming episodes. But for today, we will try something different. You know this podcast is called "Side by Side" because both Ondrej and I enjoy having little side projects. So let me (Sammy) introduce you to the guys (Simon & Dominik) that run Lito – our side hustle – together with me and hear all about our journey.
We share how it all started back in late 2015 and what happend leading up to where we are today. Building a SaaS web application for remote and distributed teams called Lito.

Feeling overwhelmed, unfocused, and not clear if the things you are doing move you forward towards what matters to you? Then this episode is for you!
Already recorded back in July now cleaned up and delivered to your ears with love from Austin, Texas and Stuttgart, Germany. The 3rd episode of Side by Side is all about finding out about what matters to you and helping you to align the things you are doing towards your personal goals. Ondrej shares an awesome design thinking method he recently (or maybe not so recently anymore ;) ) discovered in a workshop at General Assembly. Trying this method complete shifted both our focuses on to different projects.
Sorry for leaving you alone for so long, but this sometimes happens when you are doing side-projects and find out they are not entirely in line with what you are currently trying to achieve. If you are stuck and feeling unfocused, we highly recommend you try the method too. It really helped our friends who used it and us.

Sammy revisits his trip around Malaysia and his stay on Bali. Because you asked, we give some great advice on how to start side projects and how to stay motivated and gain momentum. Thanks to all the people that reached out to us after the 1st episode. You're awesome!

Hello and welcome to the very first episode of Side by Side. A Podcast where (Ondrej and myself Sammy) talk about side projects, life, work and career stuff. Tune in every other week to listen to the challenges we run into with our side projects and learn along with us as we resolve these. In later episodes, we might bring on exciting guests that work on side projects in their spare time as well. Without further ado, let’s jump into our very first episode ever.
