Can the Tigers create another upset for the Cats at the cattery in Geelong? Will the Demons continue to rise above the Dockers in Alice Springs?

Can the Bombers continue their come from the clouds season and lay a foundation to cement a finals birth for the first time in a long time, or will the Suns shine on on the Gold Coast? Can the Tigers defeat the Cats at their home ground? Week off for Lions and win less Kangaroos, are the Swans that good and what about the Giants. • EP135 - So What's Been Happening? - The Golden Gaytimes

The Golden Gaytimes' original iteration was as The Get Rich Quick Scheme – a cover band full of hijinks and nonsense which seemed to resonate with the audience. When COVID hit and gigging stopped, the burgeoning success of The Get Rich Quick Scheme was cut short.

So, the next thing you know they were writing some originals and did a band trip to Rous Mill Studio to get some tracks down. They recorded five or six of the songs at Rous Mill in August 2021 and then the rest were done over the course of the first half of 2022 at Round the Twist studio. As the single 'I'm Tempted' (400k+ views on YouTube!) establishes, this is a band that thrives on great riffs, heady grooves and a strong sense of fun and irreverence, as Jane-O confirms, "Some of our songs can be a bit dark if you go where they are meant to go. They are hooky and funny and catchy. I’m pretty sure they rock." "This unexpected banger really displays the diversity of talent in the Aussie music scene.

This catchy and irreverent pop and post-punk track has left newly found fans itching for more! Give it a listen, I dare you!" 2SER on 'I'm Tempted' (featured single)

Join in the chat LIVE with Jane-O from The Golden Gaytimes on Monday 29th April from 8.00pm AEST on Facebook and YouTube. See you then.
